"Outstanding stay. We upgraded to the Jr. Suite, for a reasonable fee, which I highly recommend if you want peace and quiet, since that building is far away from the nightly shows and dance club. Our room opened right up to the bluff above the beach, which was lovely. The food was excellent, the staff was courteous and helpful, and the location was outstanding. Our 6 year old absolutely loved the waterpark, and honestly, so did my wife and I. The property is close to El Valle, too, so we made a day trip up there which was spectacular. We’re gringos who speak okay Spanish, but even if you don’t, you’ll be able to get by fine at the resort. We were one of only a handful of foreigners staying at the hotel, which was a great experience, since who wants to travel abroad and be around a bunch of folks from the USA anyways? Not us. A big thanks to the hotel staff for making our stay so wonderful. 5 stars, all the way."

"The room was clean and beds were comfortable. It was a 15 minute walk to the beach and next to local corner stores and restaurants. The owner was nice and showed us around when we came in. It was also around a 20 minute walk from the bus stop so there's no need for a car to move around. Theres a rooftop bbq area with hammocks and table top games that anyone staying can use. There's friendly cats on the property so that's a plus too. The shower was a hassle to use, the shower head sprayed everywhere other than me and to use the hot water I had to keep my finger on a hose coming out of the heater. In the middle of the night another person staying came over banging at the door and swearing over tv noise not letting her sleep, even though the volume was at 10%, so noise travels easily between rooms."

"What a wonderful place to find out what life on the Pacific coast of Panama is like and what it can be for you. Brooke and her staff are everything you would want in them. Friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and supportive. Breakfast is included and is the only meal served daily. Definitely try El Parque restaurant in San Carlos. Delicious and inexpensive. Being a small lodge on the ocean makes it special. FYI: No TV, no fridge, no microwave in my room but an awesome ocean view, a comfortable bed and a large walk-in shower. Totally recommend this resort unless you are seeking the amenities of a corporate resort."

"My family and I absolutely loved our stay! It had everything we wanted: pool, close to the beach, safe, kitchen and more. It’s a bit small but for our family of 5, we felt it was a nice fit for one night. The host was amazing. Very prompt to respond. He had bottle waters for us and provided coffee and tea for us as well. There was a small issue we came across and we quickly responded to resolve it. Completely recommend!"

"Staff were very welcoming and helpful! Room was basic, but adequate for a one night stay and A/C worked great. Many restaurants and shops in close proximity to the property. Was a nice touch to see towel swans on our bed upon arrival!"

"We had a wonderful 5 week stay at this oceanfront condo in Río Mar. The unit was spotless, bright, and spacious, and had an incredible view—watching the sunrise from the balcony was a great start to each day! The resort grounds are beautifully maintained, and the pools were fantastic for relaxing throughout the day. There’s also a small on‑site restaurant that was good and very convenient. The location is about a 10-15 minute drive from Coronado, so having a car is definitely helpful, but the peaceful setting more than made up for it. We are already thinking about renting it again next year!"
