These are fun little cottages located east of Jasper (about 30 minutes). We selected one of the smaller ones which had a bed and sofa in it. The room was clean, had a small kitchen area with cooktop, microwave and fridge so we could eat some meals on our own.
There is no place to dine here, but Hinton has shipping and is about 20 minutes away. We choose to ship and eat two meals a day in the carving. Very basic and minimal utensils available in the room. We had four of everything except forks (only two) which was weird… but there were only two of us so it was not an issue.
The little shop onsite did not have much in the way of food, just some snacks and a small gift shop.
Also on site is an outdoor grill and fire pits which are available all day and a great place for people to gather.
The location is right next to the major road out of Jasper, but there really was not much traffic noise to be heard.
Parking is available either on front of or next to it cabin, depending on which type of unit you choose.
Overall, we had a nice relaxing stay at the Miette cabins.
