Romantic PentHaus Suite - Hot Tub & Sauna
An intimate escape among the evergreens.
Minutes from Olympic National Park, the Olympic Holiday PentHaus offers a romantic and distinctive retreat in the heart of the Olympic Peninsula. Tucked into the main level of our enchanting Bavarian-style estate, this private suite blends thoughtful comforts, a touch of luxury, and the peaceful beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
As you wind down the quiet country lane toward the property, you’ll begin to feel the rhythm of the forest surrounding you. Passing open fields and towering trees, the chalet gradually appears through the cedars. Across the expansive cedar deck and through your private entrance glass doors, you’ll find your own inviting retreat, nestled among the trees and thoughtfully appointed for a restful escape.
YOUR PRIVATE RETREAT
The PentHaus features a private bedroom and full bathroom, complete with a separate shower and a beautiful soaking bathtub. Designed with comfort and relaxation in mind, it’s a lovely place to unwind after a day exploring the mountains, wandering the coastline, or simply enjoying the slower pace of life here.
Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway, a quiet weekend away, or a little adventure on the Olympic Peninsula, the PentHaus offers a comfortable and memorable home base.
THE ESTATE EXPERIENCE
One of the special things about staying at the Olympic Holiday PentHaus is the opportunity to enjoy the unique gathering spaces and amenities throughout the surrounding four-acre property.
Spend a leisurely afternoon preparing a meal in the covered outdoor kitchen and bar, soak beneath the cedars in the saltwater hot tub, or settle in for a little friendly competition in the detached game room. Enjoy the fresh air across the expansive cedar deck and backyard, rejuvenate in the custom sauna, or gather around the outdoor fire pit as the evening settles over the forest.
The property offers a wonderful balance of places to socialize and spaces to simply slow down and enjoy your surroundings. From quiet mornings beneath the trees to evenings spent beneath the stars, there’s no shortage of ways to make the most of your time here.
A SHARED ESTATE WITH ROOM TO UNWIND
The Olympic Holiday Haus estate is home to several distinct accommodations, each offering its own private living space. During your stay, you’ll have exclusive use of the PentHaus suite and shared access to the surrounding outdoor spaces and select amenities.
The hot tub, outdoor kitchen, game room, fire pit, sauna, patio, cedar decks, and backyard are shared with guests staying in the Timber Chalet Retreat. Depending on occupancy, you may have the opportunity to cross paths with fellow travelers enjoying the property.
The Timber Chalet Retreat, attached garage, and detached shop are separate spaces and are not included with your PentHaus reservation. We love the balance of having your own cozy retreat while enjoying the amenities and atmosphere of a larger estate.

We stayed here for our daughter’s wedding on Hurricane Ridge. It was the perfect location to get around the area. The house was a great place to gather our family and spend a couple nights together with the newlyweds.
Lauren was so easy to get in touch with and helped with a recommendation for a health issue.
This stay was absolutely perfect for a stop on a road trip through the Olympic peninsula! We greatly enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the amenities were fantastic and Lauren was an extremely welcoming and communicative host. She ensured that check in and out went perfectly smooth and made sure to let us know we could call or text if we needed anything as they were a short distance away. We would love to come back and stay longer, this place is the perfect amount of nature while being close to a number of fantastic eats and hikes!
My family and I stayed here for my 25 person wedding. (Only 14 for overnight guests) It was the perfect property to have a rehearsal dinner, wedding reception, and brunch. We were able to use the big, beautiful yard and deck for a variety of activities. The house was well stocked. It was fun for my 7 year old nephew and a safe place for 2 infants. The host was wonderful to work with during my planning process. The property is truly so unique and worth the stay!
This was the perfect stay for my partner’s 44th birthday. The shared space outside with the hot tub, outdoor kitchen and fire pit has a cool 70s vibe that we loved - surrounded by big tall trees, it was very enchanting! Inside the spacious room it was very comfortable and well appointed. The bathtub and shower were incredible! My only suggestion would be to offer robes :) Thanks again!
The 12 of us had an amazing stay at Holiday Haus! The location was great for exploring the park and Lauren was a super nice and accommodating host. She always responded right away and even dropped by a couple times to help us with some minor issues. The house was perfect for our large group and is so charming and cozy. We all ate together in the dining room and the large living room was an inviting gathering space. We used the grill one night too, which was great. The beds were large and very comfortable and we all slept soundly! The kitchen was especially well-stocked. There are lots of amenities available in the rooms and closets and on the property. You should definitely book!
It was a wonderful location! The property was gorgeous and felt so cozy! I was a bit surprised when I found out later that this particular room to book is just a room with its own entrance attached to a house. I found that I would have appreciated that being stated a little more clearly, but perhaps I didn’t read all the details that well. There was one other couple in another mother-in-law style suit near us, and still it was quiet and nice. The lock box was a little confusing, but I think that’s more of the nature that I don’t typically use key lock boxes like that. Overall very wonderful place and stay. Also! We really loved the recommendations left for places to visit and eat at!! We did try a coffee place recommend by the owners and it was amazing!!
We stayed on this property for 3 nights during our elopement with 7 of our family members. We all absolutely loved this property and really cherish the great memories we made together. I would describe the home as rustic, medieval, quirky green carpet in some places, vintage hardwood furniture, occasional taxidermy, and full modern kitchen. I really appreciated how clean the home and property were and the thoughtful and loving details in every room (e.g., many clean towels in each bathroom with soft gray makeup towels; plenty of nice matching dishes/cups). The treehouse with skylights and half bath was also a neat bonus. Our dogs absolutely LOVED exploring this property too. Even though there are only two full baths (and two half baths if you include the treehouse), each room generally had at least one sink so that was helpful for facilitating getting ready. The expansive backyard has an art studio, trampoline, small playground, fire pit, hot tub, and clean outdoor kitchen. Lauren was incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful. I really appreciated how open and communicative she was about having vendors on site (e.g., table/chair rentals, staging, hair stylist, make-up artist, and photographer). I think you can really get a sense of how much care and hard work they put into hosting, and we are so grateful for them sharing their home with our family. We will always remember their hospitality and highly recommend this place.
My partner and I had a great stay! The sauna was excellent — it gets very warm which is a must for us when going on vacation. The room was nice and welcoming and we were able to cook most of our meals in the outdoor kitchen. The only downside was that the kitchen was a bit chilly due to the weather and time of year. Nevertheless we made it work!We met our host Lauren one of the mornings of our stay, she came by to clean up the property. She was very nice and we had a great time chatting with her! I would recommend this stay to anyone who likes Port Angeles :)

We would have like the hot tube to work and the sleeping said that 3 in the living room we didn’t see how that was possible. Everything else was nice and cozy. Thanks for letting us stay
The house and property are both wonderful. The location was perfect for our stay. We had 3 generations staying in the house and plenty of room for everyone. The Art Studio and Game Room were perfect additions to the house. The kitchen is well stocked for a large group. The rental is close enough to Olympic and Port Angeles to enjoy the outdoors and eating in town. Lauren was always ready to answer any questions before and during out stay. Hopefully we will be able to enjoy the house again in the future.
We enjoyed our stay. Only one shower is a problem for a group. Dishwasher broken. Used lots of paper plates they provided. Fridge door needs work. Some noise from “Extreme Sports Park” nearby but not bad. Overall, pretty decent.
