"Haven’t been in a few years and I was kinda disappointed with a few items. 1) pools and hot tubs were very dirty. I wouldn’t even get in. 2) we had breakfast at Perkins and they gave our granddaughter a color sheets and had no crayons! 3) I think the drink bracelet is a rip off. The refreshment stands are few and far between. Won’t buy the drink or food bracelet again. Other than that of course prices were through the roof but the room was very nice."

"We love staying at the Clinton Inn primarily for its location. The lake-front lawn, with lounge chairs facing the water, is magical as the sun sets over the nuclear tower to the west, and herons, egrets, and gulls soar back and forth, along with the activity of marine traffic. The hotel itself is a little shabby, which suits us fine, but be sure to request a second-floor room as "balcony" also refers to first-floor decks, either right by the public walkway or parking areas. All rooms may be pet-friendly as well, so if that's a concern, ask directly. Our rooms have always been a bit less than clean, but overall perfectly acceptable. The staff is very amenable in our experience as well. Plus, restaurants are nearby, and the town & beachfront are lovely for walking."

"The hotel was very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was great except for a dog got away from its owner and ran into breakfast area. The only complaint was there were a lot of people with dogs, and there was one dog that was barking in the room every time we were walking in the hall. I mentioned it to staff and they said they were trying to handle the situation."
