"Very nice place to stay, clean rooms "

"Incredibly good deal for the price. No elevator but my unit was a mini apartment with sofa bed, kitchenette stocked with utensils, cookware and real plates and glasses. Fridge/freezer was much larger than the under counter units in bigger chain hotels. There was even a washer/ dryer. Better than an Extended Stay in that regard. Hotel manager was easily accessible by phone to answer questions and deal with a complicated booking situation. Got it resolved quickly and extremely favorably. Parking was free and very close to the building. 12 spaces advertised but the last two were in the exit driveway. No one wanted to back out of the driveway onto the street (no turn around) or get hit so didn't park in those spaces. Some small things that would make it even better: I actually baked a pizza in the toaster oven. Hot mitts would have been nice. A small trash can under the kitchen sink would be nice. Beats walking into the bathroom or living room after wiping up spills. Couldn't tell if the remote control for room comfort did anything. The settings changed on the remote but not on the unit inside the room. I would definitely stay there again."

"Wonderful staff! Very close to the airport, downtown, and stadium. Room was clean. If you are traveling with anyone who has mobility issues, some rooms are located far from the lobby. There are no stairs for rooms on the upper level. We could hear people outside of our room passing by and talking and going up the stairs with their luggage. Hard to fall asleep with the noise. "

"Shower was clogged"

"Booked room for 11 days. Room seemed nice upon check in. However, on day 4 we requested housekeeping and were told there were linens in our room we could change our bedding ourselves. Only 4 towels for the 2 of us and our responsibility to wash and when we ran out of tp we were told they do not supply more than what was in the room 2 rolls. Then the cockroaches. the biggest being about 4in we killed 4 large and dozens of small ones. I get it it is an island but in all the years and stays and in our house we are remodeling we have never seen any. Then as we left we logged out of our Netflix not wanting to leave it open. As we were boarding our flight I got a call interrogating me about deleting the Netflix app, which we did not do, A HUGE deal was made that it was in the welcome letter that we were told absolutely not to log out of our accounts upon leaving. Firstly at my age I do not need to be scolded like a child. Secondly this welcome letter I was told I was sent was actually never sent I have checked all our emails/correspondence and never received a welcome letter or any instructions about logging out of TV accounts. I feel I was more than generous in the 2 star review but will NEVER book there again by the way this is not a hotel as most units are private residential."

"It’s an interesting house"

"Conveniently located close to beaches and Hilo. Very clean house, comfy beds, and fully equipped kitchen. We appreciated air conditioning and washer/dryer. Everything was perfect."
