Amazing host!

Teresa was very helpful with our check in process and arranging a ride to the train station for us very early in our last day. When we arrived at the apartment there was port wine and homemade chocolate cake as a tasty.

Wonderful place to stay

The property was in an excellent location and we had a wonderful experience with staying there. We had a rental car and there was a parking garage walking distance from the property which made it easier. All the major attractions that we were interested in was close by and we were able to walk to most of them. The property does not have an elevator and so if you are packing large bags, the three flights of stairs to the apartment can be challenging. Also the staircase in the middle or the room can be challenging especially for night time bathroom visits. All in all we would definitely recommend the place.

Lovely and so convenient!

We were so happy to have this little apartment during two lovely days in Porto. The owner was proactive, communicative and provided wonderful recommendations for everything you could need. Trust her list of restaurants, cafes and bakeries. The location is very convenient. It was an easy walk to everything we wanted to see. The bed and pillows in the loft area were comfortable and the kitchen/bath area was clean and had everything you could need. Because it is up 3 flights and in the back of the building, it was remarkably quiet even with the active cafe scene during the evening. Also- because it is a walk up apartment, pack light to avoid hauling all of your stuff up the stairs. We were in the middle of a road trip so we had a vehicle- which is not at all needed in Porto. There is a very safe and convenient underground parking garage close to the apartment. It cost approximately 20 euro a day. Overall great place.

Teresa created a wonderful home away from home in Porto! The loft is comfortable with everything we needed! We enjoyed our coffee on the balcony every morning! The loft is very centrally located in the Ribera district and we had no trouble walking around. Teresa also gave us a list of restaurant and sightseeing recommendations that never failed. The chocolate cake was an added bonus!! Do not miss this lovely home in Porto!

Great apartment, perfect location

This small apartment in Porto was perfect for our needs. It's stylish, functional and in a great location. The stairs to the loft, while very unique and unusual, took a little getting used to especially for bathroom visits in the middle of the night. Overall, quite lovely.

Walking Distance from Everything!

This property is fantastic and made even better by Teresa. She was absolutely amazing. Not only was she very responsive and helpful leading up to our stay, she actually met us at the apartment, jumped in the car with us and helped us locate the parking garage. GPS was not the most accurate in this area so that was a lifesaver. She then stayed to give us all sorts of information about the area. She is by far one of the best hosts we have ever had. As for the property. it is beautiful, modern, very well equipped and perfectly situated walking distance from everything there is to do. It sits above several bars and restaurants (don't worry, you do not hear the noise in the apartment). And it is across the street from a wonderful park with lots of benches and shade. There is a small convenience store on the corner that sells snack, wine, beer and liquor. The apartment is perfect for a family of 3 maximum. There is no storage for suitcases so if you travel with a lot of bags you may want to unpack and leave the empty bags in the car so you are not cramped. but the apartment is worth the small inconvenience. It is a 15 - 20 minute walk to the river. Basically it is about a 5 - 30 minute walks from everything. If you are driving, the nearest parking is a public underground garage with a stairway exit that leaves you in front of your apartment and will cost you about $20 euros p/day. You will not need the car in Porto so park it and forget it. I look forward to staying again!!

Ein außergewöhnliches Haus mit teilweise baskischem antiken Mobiliar ausgestattet. Moderne Küche mit Induktions-E-Herd, Siebträger-Kaffeemaschine u. Wasserkocher. Küchen-Ausstattung komplett bis hin zum Austernmesser.Vermieter, ein älterer netter u. hilfsbereiter Herr wohnt nebenan, spricht allerdings kein französisch, sondern nur spanisch und baskisch.Entgegen unserer Annahme befand sich das Haus nicht wie für einen ehemaligen Schafstall üblich, in einer abgelegenen Gegend sondern in einer Wohnstrasse.Insofern kam es in den elf Tagen unseres Aufenthaltes sogar an Sonn- u. Feiertagen zu einer ständigen Ruhestörung durch nachbarliche Gartenarbeiten, wie Rasenmähen, Rasentrimmen und Arbeiten mit dem Hochdruckreiniger, lärmende Kinder taten ihr übriges.Nun noch eine Bemerkung zur Lage des Hauses.Das Haus liegt vom Ortskern Sare ca. 5 Km entfernt u. ist nur über sehr enge meistens einspurige kurvenreiche Straßen erreichbar, es sollten sich nur geübte Autofahrer hierfür entscheiden.Das Haus ist sehr schön, es sollten sich hierfür jedoch nur Urlauber evtl. mit Kindern oder lärmresistente Menschen interessieren.Monika u. Porto est une ville de rêve. L appartement était parfait. Tout mignon. Bien décoré et que dire de l hôtesse Teresa qui nous a concocté un sublime gâteau au chocolat servi avec un carafon de vin Porto. Près de tous les sites d intérêts, du transport, des restaurants à une minute. Une semaine de rêve en février. Merci Teresa de toute cette hospitalité et cette gentillesse.
