"Nice property. Staff at check in was a bit bland. Not very friendly. Nice lobby, welcome glass of wine, good food at restaurant. Room and bathroom were clean and quiet. Nice vineyards nearby. Decent pool. Rooms have DISH network that were confusing to use. Remote never did work properly. Not sure why hotels can’t get any easy to use tv and remote. Ridiculous. Overall, we’d stay again. "
"as I have reviewed stays here previously, as always the Grand Vista Hotel in GJ is always the best choice. upon arrival this particular room (pet friendly) smelled like dog pee and cleaning solution… suggest upgrading the solution used in cleaning pet friendly rooms."
"We LOVED Alexander Lake Lodge and will return ASAP! ANNA served the most delicious Polish and American meals, and we absolutely LOVED the meals, conversation, history, ambiance and availability to hikes and beautiful scenery. LOVE ALEXANDER LAKE LODGE"
"My wife and I booked a stay here for our first anniversary and we LOVED it! The only thing that we are sad about is that we didn't book it for longer. Leah is so welcoming and the guest house is absolutely beautiful! We want to come back! "
"The room was very clean and met our basic needs. The beds were comfortable (for us - realizing that is a very personal preference), it was quiet and in a good location. The rooms are simple, and honestly outdated - but it was fine. There isn't on site staff, other than the cleaning person who checked in on things serval times and was very friendly, but it all worked well. We would definitely stay there again. Just don't expect resort or high-end hotel service or amenities - it's not that at all. But everyone was friendly and it was clean and worked great for our needs. "
