"The Westin is in an ideal location to explore the city it also offers a beautiful view of the Mississippi River the valet and hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. Rooms were modern clean and spacious We had crab cakes and drinks at the bar and all good. We come to New Orleans frequently and this is one of our favorite hotels. Parking is expensive but this true for most hotels near the French quarter or downtown area. "

"Convenient to French Quarter "

"Gem of a historic hotel just down the street from Cafe du Monde and Jackson Square. Beautiful courtyard with pool. Quiet interior rooms. No bar, restaurant or workout room, but there are plenty of bars, restaurants and lots of walking to be had in the French Quarter. Exceeded expectations. Would definitely return."

"Pros: Everything was clean, the room is nice and well kept, the staff was very nice, breakfast and 1 free drink daily was included while we stayed. The area is nice. It’s close to a mall & street car rides or about 15-20 min walk to attractions. These are preferences cons, they don’t out-weigh the pros. Cons: The breakfast wasn’t as good as I was expecting, but it was better than the “continental breakfast” some hotels serve. It would have been better if it had a different choice in potato’s and sausages. (A lot of people don’t eat sausage or any kind of pork). Only 1 washer/dryer that only takes card, so you have to wait for no one to be using it and it’s a $5 hold per wash/dry every time. (Ex: 1 load is $4, but a $10 hold or 2 loads is $8 with $20 hold). To park a car it’s $50-$100 a night and the incidental hotel hold was $240. Which I think both are very pricey compared to other hotels."

"Stayed 4 nights. Good location. Was delighted to have make up remover wipes in bathroom. But they were never replenished. So for one day I looked refreshed!!! About a 15 minute walk to Jackson Square where lots of tours start at. "
