"This was a great rental property. No issues with VRBO host and communications. Rental agent handled all issues and was accessible by email. House was in good condition and no major issues. It is a 1 block walk to a private beach access trail and there is a very nice and quiet beach. This is just north of Broadkill beach on the mouth of Delaware bay (I think) - so no waves, just gentle bay water. They do allow dogs in the rental and on the beach which is a key draw to this location. This area has were some biting flies on the beach and mosquitos in the evening, so bring insect repellent if coming at the peak of bug season. "

"We loved everything about it! The house/property was amazing and everything provided (from fully functional kitchen, to beach toys to linens!). This is our 2nd time staying in this community and all the residents are always welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed rescuing Horseshoe Crabs every morning. The only things was we thought one room had a queen bed. Maybe some updates to descriptions and photos to to VRBO page :-) Thank you so much for sharing your home with us, and any feedback for us is welcome!"

"This property boasts an absolutely perfect location, offering easy walking distance to the beach and convenient driving access to nearby attractions like Lewes, Rehoboth, Prime Hook nature reserve, and the Cape May Ferry. The property itself was exceptionally clean and provided ample space for a family getaway. The owners were highly responsive and a pleasure to book with."

"Our family of 5 and our dog stayed at the cottage the week of July 4th and had an amazing time. The beach is a natural beach so the sand isn't as clean, however we found that meant a lot more shells to collect! We have stayed in DE at various rentals and this was one of our favorites. The kitchen was well stocked and we didn't have to worry about having seasonings or the right cookware because it was all there for us. The location is amazing and we really enjoyed being able to run back and forth from the beach without having to drag all the kids and all the beach stuff with us each time. There was a really cute local 4th of July parade, and lots of people gathered on the beach for fireworks and socializing. A great place for families, we found ourselves interacting with a lot of other families who were also staying in the area, which gave it a friendly, small town feel. Even with the holiday it was never crowded and it was like having your own private beach right outside. We had great communication with the host who was super friendly and responsive. 10 out of 10 I would highly recommended!!"
