"Our stay here was awesome. The staff was extremely pleasant and friendly. The room was clean and there was even a laundry room if you needed it. We had an emergency and had to leave a day early and they were very accommodating. Would absolutely stay here again."

"Ramada in Cumberland is a favorite among bikers and railfans. It is across a road from the Amtrak station and a short walk into the center of town or the Western Maryland RR with its mallet steam locomotive 1309 (make sure it is running by visiting their website). The hotel is old but the staff and the people who stay there are friendly. The breakfast is functional. Overall the Ramada is an economical way to see the beauty and history of west Maryland."

"If you are travelling by bicycle, this is the place to stay in Cumberland! You won't be the only cyclist and the staff is very accommodating of bikes, including a bike-cleaning station just outside the hotel. We had fun talking with other cyclists doing the C&O and GAP trails while eating a good free breakfast."
