"Basic simple room in a new apparently purpose-built house about 10 minutes walk out of the old town. Don’t make the mistake we made - we thought we’d be doing hosts a favour by extending our stay directly through them only to discover that they charged us a higher nightly rate than Hotels.com. It’s strictly business here as not only did they argue with us about the rate, but they insisted on their price rather than graciously backing down and accepting the misunderstanding and benefits conferred...

"Friendly and kind check-in and checkout staff. We encountered some issues with electricity being on and off but was able to fix it quickly.
Spacious beds however one of the rooms had a damp-sort of smell. Easy walk to downtown. It was generally a good stay. "

"Fullt utrustat hem. Ingenting saknas. Strandlakan och parasoll finns. Sänglinne och slutstädning ingår! Gångavstånd till piazzan i Pula. Nära till affärer bla Conad. Bilen kan parkeras utanför porten eller ställa in i den låsta porten. Bra kontakt med uthyrare. Pula är en mycket trevlig småstad med många fina stränder i närheten. A breathtaking view and a wonderful getaway, especially for couples.
We stayed in an annex room. The air conditioning in that room is not adequate for summer temperatures. (No heat wave, just normal temps)
We requested a fan but was not available. Had we known, would have bought one in Cagliari and donated. We had two rather uncomfortable nights.
Otherwise, meals were excellent. All staff gracious and accommodating. It is a remarkable experience.

Our room was beautiful and walking distance to all the areas we wanted to see. Valentina was great at getting back to us very fast plus she went beyond to have a lovely detail waiting for us since we were there for our honeymoon. Bed was super comfy too, 10/10 stay!

We only stayed one night here, but the staff was very helpful in giving us information on what boat to take to see Amalfi. We arrived early so they stored our luggage while we explored the area. The pool service, evening drinks on the patio, and breakfast buffet were outstanding. Staff arranged a car service to take us back to Naples that was very reasonable in price. It is a 15 min walk downhill to the beach and shops so be prepared for the steep walk back. The hotel has the first elevator...

Calixa is in an excellent location, and Giacomo was so helpful to deal with. I loved the neighborhood, which was convenient in so many ways. If I were to change anything about this experience, it would have not been the rental itself—which was great—but rather the difficulty of dealing with Orbitz/Expedia with a minor issue that they could easily have solved with a little good will. Unfortunately, they did little to help.
