Extraordinary property and staff. Truly a 5-star experience with a gorgeous beach, delicious food, and memories that will last a lifetime. This is by far our favorite all inclusive resort. We enjoyed the excellence el Carmen as well, but the coral far exceeds even the hotel collection’s high standards. We can’t wait to return. The layout of the property is superb, as it is well integrated with the beach. Favorite restaurants were Zenith, Magna, and the Asian restaurant, as well as sushi by the pool at 5pm.

Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres is such a beautiful and relaxing resort. We chose to celebrate our anniversary here and upon arrival we were greeted with champagne. We stayed in the Excellence Club Two-Story Rooftop Terrace Suite w Private Pool Ocean View. The room was perfectly located near the main pool, restaurants and beach. Their spa was amazing, we did a couples massage with the hydrotherapy circuit which was 10/10. We even got to experience their speakeasy so make sure to get a reservation for that, it was well worth it! Overall great resort with friendly staff, delicious food and drinks!!

On a side note… the resort DOES offer airport transport even though I was told by Expedia that they did not. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! On site restaurants are delicious, rooms are comfortable. Check with front desk if you’d like your room cooler and they will gladly oblige and adjust the setting from the locked thermostat.
