"This hotel was family-friendly and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to book excursions through the hotel and spa services as well. There is an aviary on site with macaws, peacocks and other birds. The is a stable on site as well. We were able to go horseback riding on the beach. There are three restaurant choices in addition to the buffet and snack bar. Reservations need to be made a day in advance in order to have dinner at the steakhouse, sushi restaurant, and Italian restaurant. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there although it is quite far from the San Jose airport. It is a two hour drive on the toll road, one hour on the ferry and another 20-30 minutes to the resort. If you don’t mind the traveling, you should book there."

They truly make you feel special throughout your stay and returning the beautiful property every day makes it feels as though you're coming home. "It just wasn't what we were expecting. The sunset views and the beach, well Playa Blanca was breathtaking. Playa Mantas was pretty dirty and we only stayed there long enough to find out how to get to Playa Blanca. The breakfast was probably the best part and most accurate. I was traveling with my mother and we both have mobility issues. Maybe I did not research enough but I was under the impression that the beach was "steps" from the resort and they could accommodate mobility issues. We requested a room with h"
