"The hotel was beautiful. However there were some issues. Firstly, we stayed for 3 nights and on the second full day at 2pm our room still had not been cleaned. Garbage was overflowing, so we called the front desk and they said they we were on the list to be cleaned that day. Does housekeeping not come daily anymore at hotels? They came when we left and emptied the garbages, gave us new towels but only made 1 of the 3 beds. We were gone hours so it’s not like the didn’t have time to make the other two beds. On our last night we went to the pool and hot tub with our kids. When we got out all of our skin was itching and dry. My bathing suit was ruined from off balance chemicals. It bleached my black bathing suit to brown. We talked to the front desk and they had maintenance check the chemicals. We were told they were higher and they would give us 10% off our stay. However later after we checked out I received an email from the hotel saying the chemicals were within safe limits. Considering it ruined my bathing suit and all of our skin and hair feels dried out, this cannot be true. "

"Hot tub would not get hot, property manager was not responsive with solutions on that and other items we inquired about before and during the stay (like confirming if there was coffee at the property or if we needed to buy our own - things that can easily be listed) and lack of towels. "

"Very clean and has everything needed. There was a fair amount of morning noise from heavy footsteps and something heavy dropping on the floor above. And an odd gasoline fuel smell flowing in from somewhere on the last night, but not sure if that was from outside of the structure. Overall the view is nice and the place is clean and spacious."

"PROS1) Plenty of space.2) Friendly and communicative host.3) Luxurious to have a private pool, hot tub and waterslide.4) Generally neutral decor.5) Wonderful to have a games room for our kid. 6) The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels.7) Nice open view across the vine fields and a glimpse of the lake.CONS:1) The listing didn't specify that the owner lives in the house, in a separate unit. There's always a feeling of less privacy when the owner is so close, even though they have their own entrance and are not seen or heard. 2) It's a "smart home" which is always a headache. Hard to figure out the controls, you always have Google listening for possible commands, the temperature was auto-lowered to 19 degrees the first night etc. 3) There was no advance mention of the "macerating toilet" on the lower floor where the king bedroom is located. Every time you flush it makes a terrible loud noise that will wake up your partner if you go to the washroom in the middle of the night. And not only that, it will start "macerating" loudly even if you're just showering or running water in the sink. 4) The cleanliness was okay, but not great. There was swimwear left by the poolside, hairs in the hot tub, and dust bunnies here and there inside. 5) There are notes everywhere telling you what to do or not to do, and you get a multi-page "house guide" with rules. 6) There was still occasional construction noise from a new complex right next door."

"We found a beautiful refuge while staying for three weeks in this home overlooking the Okanagan lake and vineyards of West Kelowna. There is a lot of space for larger families or groups as every room is quite large. The pool was so wonderful to enjoy each day during the late summer months. The house were accessible yet gave us the privacy. We needed to enjoy a home away from home. Everything was so clean, organized and modern. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope you will as well!"
