"The room was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Really liked the fully featured kitchenette with cook-top, fridge and microwave oven (something you don't often see in hotel rooms). Nice hot shower. Convenient parking, almost outside our door. Only a couple of minor disappointments; 1). there were no electric blankets on the bed (we didn't want to run the split-system heating all night to keep warm). 2). we had a not very romantic view of the rainwater storage tanks directly outside our window."

"We’ve stayed in many holiday homes during the past twenty years or so, and this one is a standout!Warm when we arrived on a really cold day, beautifully renovated and stunning central location (yet very quiet).The house retains its beautiful heritage features but provides all the modern luxuries. The hosts are generous - chocolate and a really nice bottle of red. A lovely message on our day of arrival, advising us the the house was ready and we were welcome to arrive early. Everything was spotless.Truly, this place is perfect!We will definitely return for a longer stay. Such an interesting town and district!"
