A-MAAAAZZ-ING!!!!!!

Words cannot describe how beautiful Vista Hermosa is! We had an amazing time with 16 friends for the week. Our concierge, Susan, was great and very responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay. The chefs, Kenneth & Adrian…….TOP NOTCH! Every single meal was amazing & the presentation was beautiful! The views were unbelievable and accommodations were excellent! We would definitely like to stay again!

Best Couples Trip!

We absolutely loved this property! It was beautiful and so well kept. Everything was organized and clean and the staff were all top notch. Any request was handled and there were no issues with meals or schedules. Major props to both Susan and the chefs who had us eating like royalty all week. I would highly recommend this house!

Comfortable getaway- feels like you're at home

Vista Hermosa is a beautiful property and location. The chef prepared the most incredible meals for our large group. The concierge happily coordinated all of our activities and even shifted items around throughout the week as needed. We highly recommend this vacation rental- we would definitely visit again. Simply Extraordinary

I stayed at this property with my wife and 15 friends and I couldn't imagine a better experience. The location is perfect being a short walk to the beach. The coordination with the concierge with everything we wanted to do was above what one would would expect. The food was absolutely incredible. Each meal outdid the previous. I would stay at this property again in a heart beat. It was incredible.

Coastal Paradise!!!

We arrived at Vista Hermosa with 4 other couples, our expectations were high after carefully reviewing all the properties that fit our criteria in Manual Antonio, and deciding on this one based on all the excellent reviews and of course the photographs, photos have however fooled me in the past not this time! the pictures can not come close to doing anything about Vista Hermosa justice, it is 10 times better in person! The sweeping ocean views are breathtaking, the house is exquisite in every way, Private Chef Javier prepared delicious healthy fresh meals that were better than any restaurant around, we were spoiled in every way, the beach is a quick walk down the private trail and it is Beautiful and quiet! hardly anyone around, you can walk down the beach 15 minutes to town and Bars and Restaurants and the main Beach for people watching or stay at the Villa and relax. all the guest rooms have Balconies with amazing views and the balcony upstairs with the Infinity pool is absolutely Addicting! you can look at that view all day! I never stopped taking pictures. there are plenty of activities available which Shiona can help you plan and book with ease, Manual Antonio is a quaint and Charming town and Vista Hermosa is a once in a lifetime experience, Highly Recommended

"Paradise found"

We were truly impressed with speaking with Susan, the concierge. She embodies what I wish all concierges would be like. Working with her from the beginning has been truly a fantastic experience. She had a lot of great suggestions of how we can enjoy the house and schedule tours and get the most out of Manuel Antonio! This piece of paradise was perfect for our party of 12 (6 couples) we all had our private room and on-suite to separate us when we needed it. The impressive top floor to gather with everyone and enjoy the most amazing view with cool breezes we experience everyday was beyond breathtaking. The invisible edge pool is where we ended up with a drink in hand and the surround sound music on to end of fantastic day. The house chef Javier and his daughter Hilary served nothing less than a 5 star meals. He was truly a pleasure to have around. The maids were attentive, friendly and had our rooms cleaned daily. But, where this place really shines is how quiet and tranquil this place was. This was exactly the vibe that I wanted to have, a peaceful and relaxing place where you soak up all that beachfront living can offer. Definitely a place I wouldn't mind going back to again and again! Pura Vida.

A trip of a life time that may have to be repeated. Awe inspiring views to start and finish each day

I have stayed in VRBO homes throughout the continental USA, Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico and now Costa Rica. I have to say that the pictures of this home accurately depict the beauty of Vista Hermosa. Everything was as advertised. Chef Javier and his beautiful wife Karina are amazing. If you are fortunate enough to catch fresh Mahi they can prepare it any way you want. The cleaning staff, grounds crew and onsite security were all courteous and accommodating. Susan the concierge was very helpful in lining up a very busy itinerary for our group of 24 and the owner, aside from building such a lovely home, was also prompt, accommodating and professional when addressing the money side of this deal. The bottom line is that this place accommodated a group of 24 people with ages ranging from 10 to 75 and everyone had a wonderful time without getting in each others way. Some sat on the deck all day and read books while others jumped from waterfalls. There is something for all in Costa Rica and this home can either be used as a gateway to adventure or a place to decompress and get your YOGA on. If you decide to try this place out and can't fill the rooms let me know and maybe I'll take one off your hands. PURA VIDA.

As if this property isn't gorgeous enough in pictures, it is even more beautiful in person. The staff working at the house were amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment at this house and in Manuel Antonio. The Costa Rican people are so friendly.

Amazing Home!

Family trip with adult siblings, spouses and our parents. Out of this world views, pristine home that is superbly laid out and accommodating with en suite bathrooms, patios and king or double queen bedrooms. The house concierge, chefs, maintenance and housekeeping crew are unbelievable and incredibly professional. Be prepared to be blown away by the meals prepared by your private chef. Wildlife experiences right off the patio with monkeys, macaws, sloths and iguanas. We felt entirely spoiled. We absolutely will be back! Thank you Vista Hermosa staff.

Most spectacular vacation we’ve ever taken.

Spectacular from start to finish

Everything about our experience at Vista Hermosa significantly exceeded our expectations. The owner, Dave, was incredibly helpful with keeping us updated on everything in Costa Rica prior to our trip. Susan, our concierge, was available up to and during our trip to answer any and all our questions and help coordinate and schedule everything for my family to have a stress-free vacation. The property is absolutely breathtaking. The views are second to none. The house has everything you might need and is perfectly laid out to accommodate large groups, but still intimate for smaller parties as well. Our chef, and the meals he prepared, rivaled the best restaurants in the states. His service and attention to our needs were incredible. It was a huge highlight of our trip. The housekeeping staff were so sweet and kept everything immaculate. They did our laundry and cleaned the entire property every single day. The walk to the beach was a breeze. I think they say 15-20 minutes walk, but we made it back up the hill from the beach in 9 minutes at a normal pace. We saw multiple species of monkeys including on our deck in the mornings. Our housekeeper, Gabi, spotted a Sloth in the tree next to the house and we watched him move from tree to tree all day too. Everything about Vista Hermosa and Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica were so much better than we were expecting. You can't go wrong with this place! Highly, Highly Recommended! We can't wait to come back!

WOW! Amazing house, staff and views...

Everything from the review of the property description to the actual booking was great start. Upon booking we received communication from the owner that the concierge would contact to schedule arrival pick up and help with planning our stay including meals/drinks and any excursion. The communication throughout arrival date was prompt and thorough. When we arrived at the airport our transportation was coordinated and on time. Once we arrived at the house Susan the concierge met us with a binder/book that was detailed out with the entire stay mapped out to the “T”. We were in AWE when the Dora opened to the house and we seen the view and entire house. We had a party of 20 and the house was just the right size to house us comfortably. Now for the best part was chef Javier and his assistant. The cooking was AMAZING and we did not want to leave or eat any place else. Overall I will be back and I highly recommend this house to anyone and everyone. Thank you

Amazing Vacation

For our entire group of 16, this house was not only everything we hoped it to be, but also exceeded our expectations. Javier and Jose made delicious meals and were absolutely wonderful people. Isabella and the rest of the team that kept the house in perfect condition were a pleasure and they even spotted a sloth in the tree and a whale in the ocean for us all to see. Susan helped get all the excursions booked and coordinate extra needs once we were there. It was a unanimous decision, we will all be back again!

Best vacation I have ever experienced.

We arrived at Vista Hermosa with 5 other couples, our expectations were high since we currently live in paradise Oahu, but after carefully reviewing all the properties that fit our criteria in Manual Antonio, and decided on this one based on all the 5 star reviews. I'm so happy we booked it since their calendar is pretty full. From the first moment you enter the villa your jaw will drop. The pictures can not come close to doing anything about Vista Hermosa justice, it is 10 times better in person! The sweeping ocean views are breathtaking, the house is exquisite in every way, Private Chef Javier prepared delicious healthy fresh meals that were better than any restaurant around, we were spoiled in every way, the beach is a quick 10 min. walk down the private trail and it is beautiful and quiet besides the sounds of nature. Another quick walk 15 minutes to town for plenty of bars,restaurants and some shopping, then back at the villa to relax. All the guest rooms have balconies with amazing ocean views and top social area upstairs with the Infinity pool is absolutely addicting. You can look at that view all day long! I never stopped taking pictures. There are plenty of activities available which Susan can help you plan and book with ease, Manual Antonio is a quaint and Charming town and Vista Hermosa is a must travel to destination. Highly Recommended if you want a no stress couples get away. Can't wait to someday come back to this little place of paradise. My wife is already planning our return trip. Pura Vida and thank you to all the staff at Vista Hermosa for making this the best vacation ever......

Perfect Place for a Perfect Stay!

What an amazing place and unforgettable experience. I stayed here for about a week with a group of 15 or so family and friends. Perfect location. There's a private path down to Playitas Beach and it's in a pretty walkable area in general, within walking distance of bars, restaurants, and a market. We were also able to use Uber which was convenient. Loved the infinity pool. As others have mentioned, Chef Javier was awesome. I have dietary restrictions and Javier was very accommodating. There's laundry service as well, so we were able to pack light. Susan the concierge helped us book the tours we did (highly recommend the ATV tour), a couples massage, and a shuttle to the airport. We chewed our own food, but pretty much everything else was taken care of for us!

80th birthday family trip

It was a beautiful home and perfect place for the 16 members of my family. It was perfection. Susan did a great job of seeing to our needs and went out of her way to take care of our needs. The meals were outstanding and works so well with taking care of our different needs. Maybe I’ll be back on my 90th Birthday.

WHAT AN AMAZING YOGA VENUE!!!!!!

Pure Zen........My yoga instructor fortunately found this amazing venue. This beautiful villa definitely exceeded our expectations!! It is totally like a 5-star resort with fine dining, gorgeous views and immaculate furnishings. Organic fresh gourmet cuisine served daily by Chef Javier (did I mention the great wine selection, wow!). We decided not to do all of the yoga classes as sometimes we just wanted to relax in an unspoiled, tropical place and enjoy its breathtaking views. The town is perfect, full of great restaurants, night life and shopping. The beaches were gorgeous, clean with lots of little local restaurants and lots of beach activities along the 3 mile stretch. The spa services and the massage therapists were wonderful (ask for the "Pure Bliss" massage you will never forget. I cannot say enough about the beauty of this place. The owners have created an ultimate oasis. Not much I have seen compares to the beauty and comforts of this retreat venue and I've been to a few in Mexico, Bali, Nicaragua, and Vista Hermosa is now my favorite of them all. I also learned to surf thanks to my phenomenal instructor and the perfect waves. Overall, we had the time of our lives. It is my hope to return one day soon!! There's such an energy, warmth and eternal beauty in Manuel Antonio. The natural beauty combined with the care and love shown by the entire staff is second to none. It made it hard to say goodbye to such an exceptional staff and let's not forget the heavenly meals!!! Thanks again to our concierge Susan for coordinating everything for us, Javi our culinary master and the rest of the staff. I hope to return in the near future. Much love and Pura Vida!

Luxury Vacation At Vista Hermosa

All your vacation wishes come true for a Five Star property. The views are breathtaking with a modern and relaxed vibe! Pampered by Chef Javier with awesome meals, there is no need to eat out, the staff will pamper you daily. Beautiful and comfortable accommodations with ocean and jungle views from each room, enjoyed a sense of complete serenity without any outside annoyances. We enjoyed relaxing by the infinity pool, walking to the private beach and had an awesome massage, also enjoyed the wildlife in the area. I would highly recommend it and can 't wait to go back.

Amazing Experience!!!!!

This house could not be more perfect. There was plenty of space for our group of 20. Many of us would go on excursions during the day, which Susan the house consierge helped coordinate. We'd all meet back at the pool and enjoy the amazing views. Chef Javi was incredible and would cook the most amazing meals for us. We also had our wedding reception at the house and it worked perfectly. I would highly highly recommend this house.
