Cozy Stay

We really enjoyed our time! It was so nice to have a get away with our 3 month old. It was very clean, had all the amenities that we needed, and enough space to meet up with a couple friends when the baby was asleep. We will definitely book again when we are back in Quincy!

Thanksgiving getaway

Our family stayed two nights while in Quincy to see family for an early Thanksgiving and everything was wonderful! So cozy and relaxing! Close enough to Broadway but out enough for quiet surroundings! We will definitely be back when in Quincy again!

Girls Annual Weekend

We loved the home it had everything we needed. We even spoke to Mike and he was very accommodating. He gave us other suggestions as well what was happeningin the area for the weekend. It was easy to check in and check out. I would book again if I am in the area!

The home was beautiful! Exactly as described and very clean. The host was wonderful and accommodating, which was extremely appreciated! If we’re ever back in Quincy, we would love to stay here again!

Absolutely Wonderful!

We were heading to Quincy for a family reunion. This cabin was fabulous in the middle of farmland. The cabin was decorated wonderfully! And we had everything we needed for a great stay. Michael was a great host! I hated to leave.

Great little get-away close to home. Love the Cabin look & feel~!

We love going to Quincy IL and we needed a little break, so when I saw this cute place on-line, it was PERFECT! It was a "gift" to my husband for Christmas, just to get away for a night. I had been wanting to stay in a "cabin" sort of place & this was pretty much what I was looking for. I so wish the weather would have been a bit nicer so that we could have sat on the front or back porch areas & admired the outdoors, but it was below freezing temps w/ blowing snow that weekend. To have a nice, warm place to bundle up in was just what we needed. The place is nicely decorated, very clean & cozy! The bed was comfortable & the couches were as well. We didn't need to cook or utilize the washer & dryer, but it is nice to know that we could have if we had needed to do so. It was very close to all the places that we like to go to when we visit Quincy. I highly recommend this cozy A-frame! Go check it out.

Charming weekend place

This house was adorable and had everything we needed. We loved the decor and the coziness of the log cabin look. We played many board games at the kitchen table. The upstairs, although a loft, was private and very roomy. One downside was the stairs to the loft. Although the description is "steep stairs", the stairs were much more steep than anticipated. Also, the tap water was not clear. After letting the water run for a few minutes, it did become more clear, but some were wary of drinking directly from the tap. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again (especially if we had younger people in our group to tackle the steep stairs).

I have family in Quincy Illinois and we normally stay at a hotel, however I have found the hotels are often hit or miss in cleanliness or safety. (Some local hotels are seedy and allow indoor smoking) We decided to rent this charming a frame and it did not disappoint! It was spotless, orderly, very well stocked with needed items-towels, sheets, paper towels, toilet paper, basic condiments, soap, etc. It was in a very quiet setting with a lovely pond out back. Nice front and back porch for relaxing-nice bedding, very nice furniture, lighting-its a great place for people to visit you also. Washer and dryer in the unit is amazing! This unit would be great for someone that needs assistance from a wheelchair or walker as all the doors and areas are easily accessible for impaired visitors-including a ramp out front. The host Mike is very nice, helpful, and accommodating. This cute place was minutes off of Broadway, so its easy to get to great dining or shopping options. This was an excellent value and was by far the best place we have ever stayed in Quincy-easily one of the top 3 places we have stayed overall. I highly recommend it of you are looking for a quiet place that is well appointed and convenient. I will never stay anywhere else in Quincy if I have a choice.

Our family comes to Quincy every summer for the Adams County Fair to show our dairy cows. This house was the perfect place to stay! So cute and cozy. Decorated so perfectly. The owner was very nice and easy to communicate with!
