This property is amazing! The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the food is delicious. I highly recommend it. It’s also a fantastic choice for families, as the staff are incredibly accommodating and welcoming toward children.
Beautiful restort style (boutique) hotel with great views and landscapes. The restaurant in the hotel offers great food options and the food was amazing. The room was clean and staff extremely friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back
Unbelievably well presented and well equipped spa hotel in the Tuscan hills. Surrounded by vineyards, gorgeous spacious rooms, a pool, fine dining and it even has an electric car charger the hotel can give you a card for (and it’s really cheap to use). The spa has numerous saunas and Etruscan/Turkish baths, which you can use for free. An absolute delight.
I was fortunate enough to stay in this beautiful hotel whilst photographing a wedding in Tuscany and I was so pleased that I am hoping to stay again as soon as I can. The staff were lovely, the hotel was beautiful and the surrounding areas were stunning. The spa was clean and calming, with three different rooms to try and a jacuzzi. I was offered a free yoga class one morning and my room was cleaned before 10am every day. On my last day, I checked out at 11am after breakfast and was offered a place to keep my bags so that I could stay out by the pooI until I needed to leave. I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel to anyone travelling through Tuscany!
Quick trip, wonderful stay! The check-in service was 10/10—they even helped us secure a same-night dinner reservation. Dinner was incredible and truly the highlight of our visit!
Our stay was absolutely magical, feels like your in a romantic movie. The staff were incredible and very friendly/ helpful I will definitely come back to stay here.

Amazing property and amazing staff that made our trip the best part of Italy! Beautiful grounds and such lovely attentiveness, thank you and we hope to be back someday
Great hotel with an excellent restaurant. Rooms were original and beautiful. Very spacious. Service was also excellent. Delicious breakfast. Beautiful pool area and spa.
The staff were so nice and accommodating. We received a room upgrade from the kindness of their heart. The food was outstanding and the views were amazing!
This Villa/hotel was everything you need when staying in amazing Tuscany. The rooms were very spacious and romantic. The hotel grounds are ample and very well kept, it looks like a beautiful canvas. The front desk lady named Marina was amazing with the check in process and very helpful and informative. The only issue we had was the food Wich was not to our liking but that’s expected as they don’t have a real dedicated fully operational restaurant so it was fine. There is plenty of options around in Radda and Chianti wich should be explored. Would definitely recommend and come back.

Property itself was beautiful but it’s so isolated, not any eating places nearby or places to walk, must use a car which is a big downer for me
Additionally, I don’t think this hotel was worth the price. It doesn’t feel 4 star in experience, there’s no ac, and you have to leave the door open, the cleaning ladies did a rush job (which doesn’t feel nice or special) there’s no room service should you wish to sleep in and have breakfast
All in all it was good but I wouldn’t go back
Our room was on the first floor and felt almost basement like, we didn't have a view because we were basically eye level with the ground outside. So that was a disappointment but the room was huge and looked like the pictures online. The facilities were as expected with a gorgeous pool and great views. The restaurant was also very tasty. I think we were just a little disappointed by where our room was situated and would have liked a room with more of a view.
Isolated location (on bumpy gravel road) was less than ideal.
The pool was uncomfortably cold on a 25 degree day
Long dark hair was found on bathroom floor.
Large, pretty comfortable bed.
Could do with some updates to address tired ambiance.
Needed: written directions for TV controller and more channels, and how to contact front desk from room.
Villa Campomaggio is absolutely amazing. Located in perfect area close to 3 must-see Chianti towns (Radda, Greve, Gaoli) the resort is quaint and perfectly Tuscan (i.e. exactly what you want your place in Tuscany to look like). The communication prior to arrival was excellent and the directions to get there were spot on. The grounds and the stone buildings are impeccable and exactly what you want in a Tuscan Estate. The Team members at Campomaggio were extremely helpful with any and all needs you had. We rented a Deluxe Suite (1 Bedroom) for a very reasonable rate and the room was HUGE with King Bed, spa bedroom, chair and table to work. sofa to relax on - couldn't ask for more and great 4 nights. The bar and breakfast were lovely and affordable and my wife had an outstanding deep tissue massage at the spa. The pool was perfect and there are so many "cute" little areas to sit - relax - enjoy a bottle of wine or an Aperol Spritz. We will 100% come back to Villa Campomaggio next year!!

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The staff was friendly and everything was clean, but the accommodation didn’t feel fresh to me. The interior looked dated and at times a bit kitschy. Our bathroom had no ventilation, and the sealant showed black stains, which gave an unhygienic impression. The use of fabric furniture and carpets made the place feel less fresh and luxurious.
The welcome was underwhelming: you have to carry your luggage up a steep gravel path yourself, with no assistance from staff, which didn’t feel very hospitable. I also missed a personal touch; the hotel is quite large, which leaves little room for genuine contact or a warm atmosphere.
On a positive note, the location is truly beautiful and peaceful. The food was also good.
This place has great potential, but in my opinion, it’s in real need of renovation. With a thorough update, it could truly become a top-tier stay.
We had a double room with limited daylight. The bathroom was big and also the shower was a good size.
The pool had a fine view and easy to find a sunbed.
The downside of this hotel is that they don’t have a restaurant. Instead the have bar service were you can get some food. When we arrived the told we always could get food at the bar but last night we stayed they said that we couldn’t get food even though a lot free tables inside (the calmed we couldn’t sit there because it was already made ready for next day breakfast). A very bad excuse in our eyes.
The standard at the breakfast was not for a four star hotel.
This resort is one of the most beautiful properties I have ever stayed in. Free use of the spa just was icing on the cake! Great breakfast spread and our dinner in the restaurant was delicious! We will be back!!
