"If you’re looking for busy and noisy with lots to do this is not the place for you. If you’re looking for quiet, relaxed, lazy pool days then look no further. Staff are amazing from reception to pool bar nothing too much trouble. Food is good with a la carte option at additional cost if you want it. Will definitely return"

"The villa itself is beautiful, probably one of the best we have stayed in. It was well equipped with good quality items and everything you could need during your stay. It was cleaned thoroughly twice a week with bathroom towels, beach towels and bedding changed on each occasion making it feel more like a hotel than a self catering Villa. Some basic food & cleaning items were also provided. The location is perfect, extremely quiet with sea views and 3 restaurants within easy walking distance even for my 80 year old parents. Fresh veg and bread (especially loved the sugared doughnuts!) were available daily from sellers who stopped right outside the villa gate. Plenty of other restaurants within 20 minutes drive. The local beach, which is opposite the villa was good for my husband & I but my elderly parents couldn't get in the water due to the stony beach which was such a shame as once you get about 6ft into the water it is beautiful soft sand.Ria was a perfect host, very informative in the lead up to the holiday and when we arrived she was attentive and a friendly face whenever we needed her but was never overbearing. She is understandably very proud of the Villa and Crete and was happy to share useful recommendations of places to visit. We had 2 very minor issues during the holiday and both were resolved extremely quickly and did not affect our stay at all. we had a fantastic holiday and would happily return to the villa if we get the chance. Thanks Ria we loved our visit."

"Wow! Not enough characters to described this amazing property! Eleni the host was the best! Check in was super easy, she left us some olive oil, raki, and essentials to get us going for the first night until we could go to market. The house is amazing, even better than the pictures. Don’t be mislead by some Google pictures that someone posted that are not from the property. This house was amazing, the location is perfect for visiting Balos, Elafonisi, Falasarna. 1000% recommended, I think we will go to Crete next year for the third time and for sure we will be booking with Eleni! Beautiful property. We were a party of 6, 4 adults and 2 teenage kids 17&13. We were very comfortable in the property. "

"We were drawn to the villa by the photos and the view from the balcony and this did not disappoint. Also Ria was fantastic at communication and the property had many 5* reviews . We were delighted that the three local tavernas were so wonderful - each unique and very welcoming . The bread van was a highlight for us and something we were looking forward to . Nicholas was just wonderful and his bread , pizzas and donuts were delicious . We visited local villages and beaches (Elafonisi and Falassarna) getting up early to beat the crowds ; but we were always pleased to be back at the villa to our favourite beach ! Finally a big thank you to Ria who was fantastic in her communication and welcome . She was so accommodating offering us the villa slightly earlier as it was available on arrival . This made a big difference to us as we so happy to get to the villa and relax . The villa has been beautifully designed and everything has been thought of with great attention to detail . Thank you also to Ria for the delicious desserts she so kindly bought for us .We are fortunate to travel often but have never been so relaxed and happy . We will return . "

"We hired this villa for 3 weeks from mid-May until early June with a group of friends and family members aged 27 to 74. For those looking for a spanking villa on a quiet, unspoilt stretch of coast, this is the place. The villa itself is wonderfully spacious and beautifully equipped. Beds were super-comfy and the showers are powerful with no shortage of hot water. Although we did very little cooking, the kitchen seemed to be fully equipped and has some nice touches eg coffee machine and ice-maker. Housekeeping was excellent with towels/bed linen changed twice per week and the villa cleaned from top to bottom. Plentiful supples of toilet rolls, bathroom products, tea, coffee etc. Pool man and gardener kept the pool spotless and the garden spruce.One of our party has some mobility issues but experienced no problems. The stairs to the first floor are gentle,carpeted and with good handrails. The showers are walk-in with anti-slip mats provided. Although there are some steps within the villa, the majority of it is ‘on a level’ and the drive provides level access to the road.The pool is large with stepped access and the garden furniture is good quality and very comfortable. There are 2 tavernas and a mini-market very close to the villa. A 20 minute walk up into the village brings you to a bakery and supermarket.Rhia, the owner, is amazing and could not have been more helpful and generous. We had a fabulous time."

"I highly recommend this villa, it is spacious and nicely furnished. The views are amazing over the hill with the sea in the background.The area is very quiet and private feeling. Even though the villa is in a rural area it is only a short drive (5 minutes) to the beach and the local village with a good supermarket and plenty of restaurants. "
