I stayed here for a conference and had a good experience overall. The food was good, though the hotel was very busy. My oceanfront room could have been cleaner, and the windows were poorly insulated. A pleasant stay, but room cleanliness and insulation could use improvement.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Grand Hyatt Rio de Janeiro. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, and extremely well maintained. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and spotless, with a relaxing atmosphere and beautiful views. The pool and common areas are fantastic, and the entire property feels like a true luxury resort. What really made our stay special was the staff. Everyone we encountered was professional, attentive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making our experience memorable. The service was consistently excellent throughout our stay. The breakfast was also outstanding, with a great variety of fresh and high-quality options. The location in Barra da Tijuca is beautiful and peaceful, making it perfect for relaxing while still enjoying everything Rio has to offer. Grand Hyatt Rio de Janeiro truly delivers a five-star experience. We left extremely satisfied and would definitely stay here again. This is a great hotel to vacation at while in Brazil. The staff were courteous. The room was clean on a consistent basis. The restaurants in the hotel served good food as well. Location was central to a lot of things in the area. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Brazil.

Amazing hotel if in Rio

Excellent hotel, the staff were all outstanding with customer service- special shout out to Gustavo on the front desk! Right on the beach (you do have to cross a busy road) - lovely pool and excellent gym. Near the golf course and great shopping.
