Confortable hotel but service need improving

it's a good hotel and the bed is confortable. However the service could be better, I asked for a quiet room with bathtub during booking and I was told it will be arranged during check in - which it wasn't, then I asked for it again and was promised it on the next day, I got a new room with no bathtub and on first floor facing the road, so not so quiet. Then the light in my room was flashing and this wasn't fixed during the 3 weeks I stayed there. The restaurant has good food but they would make a mistake at every order.

Although the hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located, they charged us a $50 early check in fee. I’ve stayed in many Hiltons and this has never happened to me, so that was an annoying welcome.

The check-in process was smooth and since we overbooked one extra night by mistake, William the front staff was able to offer us 2 cans of beers as a gesture of goodwill but he couldn't provide free dinner vouchers. The breakfast buffet was delicious with its own juicer machine. Fresh fruits and eggs made to order. For dinner we order a pepperoni pizza which wasn't as good as stand alone pizza joints but the filet mignon steak was tasty. The commute to Christ the Redeemer and Copacabanna Beach was about 30-40 mins awy.

This is a beautiful property and very well maintained. My only complaint is good luck getting a cup of coffee. The only place to get a full cup is by ordering breakfast in the restaurant. They do have a carafe of coffee in the lobby with only tiny cups which hold about two sips. If you want to use the coffee maker in your room you have to buy coffee pods from the front desk and they were out of stock when I asked.

Check-in was a breeze, and the lobby area was clean, modern, and inviting. The room was spacious, spotless, and equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in, ensuring I got a great night’s rest. I also loved the thoughtful touches like the complimentary toiletries and fast Wi-Fi. The location is perfect—close to Mall, landmarks, or conveniences]. Whether you’re in town for business or leisure, this hotel is ideally situated to make the most of your trip. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. It was a perfect way to start/end the day. The attention to detail and care for guests really sets this hotel apart. I would definitely recommend Hilton to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay. I’ll certainly be returning on my next visit to Rio!
