"We liked location to why we were in the area. Staff was friendly and helpful if we needed information. Breakfast was quite nice and plenty of eating area. Adequate parking areas no matter when you arrived and during the day as you came in and out. We will probably return to this location again during football season since our grandson plays football at East Tennessee State University."

"We loved the real log cabin experience. The bedrooms were nice and plenty of beds to choose from. I missed the detail that there is no AC! Didn't know it until we arrived, but at night we were ok with fans, just a bit warmer than we would choose to be. When you're at the cabin, there is no cell service or WiFi. The creek makes a beautiful sound, and with all the windows open, you can hear it easily. The cabin has a distinct barn wood smell which took me back to my childhood, playing in my parents' barns. The well water does have the sulfur smell, which isn't too bad for me, but my son & husband had a hard time with it. Also very little water pressure, a common well water issue. Large selection of DVDs, books, and games.I appreciated the antique decor, and reading the history of the cabin in the guest book. Overall nice stay."
