"Beautiful plantation style home: the walls and floors are amazing redwood planks and each wall is set with sets of French doors that open to a lovely, partially screened lanai. The home is surrounded by greenery and wildlife. We saw (and heard) numerous roosters, chickens, bull frogs, song birds, wild pigs. Close, easy walk to the peaceful Anini Beach. We were there during a rain storm that battered other Hawaiian islands, but treated us with gentle showers. The home was clean and well set up- agree that it could use some sharper knives. "

"Great place for a family. Nice pool, good location, great staff and food trucks are a sweet perk to make life easy. If you’re up for walking a mile the beach is right there. My wife has one complaint. The bullfrog was super loud at 3:00 am every morning…so plan for that."

"The property was great! We really wnjoyed how spacious the rooms were. The front desk has trais to borrow for the beach and coolers in the rooms! I would opt for a roomaway from the pool if possible. Quiet hours are 10pm and folks get pretty loud in the evenings at the pool. "

The stairs are slippery and my friend fell and hurt her foot. Could use a grip tape on the stairs. I loved the layout. The kitchen was cozy and clean. The bed was very difficult to get comfortable in. You could feel the wear of somebody sleeping on the right side of the mattress.I loved the trail hike nearby.It was difficult to get ahold of anyone about my friend falling. No one answers the phones over the weekend it seems."

"Everything was easy and accessible. Very lovely area and suitable place to stay. Only downside if you could call it that (because it wasn’t a problem for us) this unit did not have AC. There where many fans and the unit stayed very cool especially while sleeping. "

We weren't disappointed in the home itself, and Anini is just about the most peaceful place I've been, so it was amazing to be back and able to just walk across the street to be in bliss anytime we wanted! Highly recommended."

"Great location for the quiet rest I sought. Staff were helpful, and I enjoyed several classes with Hawaiian cultural activities. It was sad not to have the main pool and especially the hot tub available, but I knew it was under maintenance when I reserved my room. Very nice bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The property was quiet snd I walked to many nearby places, and took the bus to others."
