Top Rocking Stone Tower Hotel Reviews

Truckee Donner Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was very convenient. My favorite feature was the coffee machine in the lobby, which offered hot drinks 24 hours a day. It was such a thoughtful touch to be able to enjoy a cup of coffee or another hot beverage anytime, day or night. Overall, a great hotel with excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely consider staying here again!"

Luxury Historic Truckee River Cabin Hideaway

10/10 Excellent

"Second time at Mitch’s wonderful cabin in Truckee, and it was a perfect stay once again. Can’t recommend this place enough! Location is amazing and the cabin itself is so comfortable and cozy. Will definitely return!"

Tahoe Star Hotel

8/10 Good

"Very cute historic hotel right in the heart of Truckee. There really isn't any staff. You check yourself in. The room was nice, but the water pressure in the shower was not great. The location was convenient to all the things Truckee. But, the trains are right across the street, and they go past multiple times a day and it can get loud."

SpringHill Suites by Marriott Truckee Lake Tahoe

10/10 Excellent

"Very clean and comfortable rooms. Minutes from downtown Truckee. Very convenient."

10/10 Excellent

"Home was clean...except for cobwebs up a bit higher than the cleaners did. Decks were not too usable as they were covered with pine needles. Otherwise, facilities were good, manageable, directions to open and close house were good. We only did breakfast there, rest of the day was with family. Good location."

Village Camp Truckee

10/10 Excellent

"The rental was exactly as pictured, it was perfect for weekend plans. We were pleasantly surprised that it was fully stocked with anything you could need and in new condition which sometimes is not the case. We loved the front deck and totally enjoyed the fire pit. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely stay here again."

Coyote Moon by AvantStay | Cabin W/Sauna | Mins from DT Truckee & NorthStar

8/10 Good

"My family enjoyed our summer stay at this property. The kitchen is really well appointed for someone who likes to cook, the movie room was a huge hit with the kiddo, and everything was comfortable. Wifi is spotty, but we learned it is like that across Tahoe Donner. Not listed is the fact that they do have a lot of tower fans which came in handy when it was warm out. Location is great too -- close to Tahoe Donner community, quick access to downtown Truckee and Donner Lake."
