Rome, near the Vatican, lovely apartment with terrace for 4 people

This lovely apartment is located a few steps from the Vatican, in an old residential complex with an inner courtyard so it is very quiet and peaceful. Located on the fifth floor (with elevator+one flight of stairs), it is very bright and can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people. It consists of a large living room with dining area, a modern and fully equipped kitchen, two comfortable double bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two separate beds), a bathroom and a beautiful terrace. The area is well served: the bus and metro stops are a few meters away. In the nearby Via Candia there are many shops, restaurants and supermarkets and a 5 minute walk you can reach the Trionfale Market where you can find fresh products every morning. This solution is perfect for a family looking for a comfortable and quiet accommodation.

Great location, lovely apartment.

The location was perfect for people who want to experience the area around the Vatican. There’s also great shopping and restaurants. Apartment is very nice and clean. Has all the amenities. Beautiful terrace to enjoy a morning coffee. Fully equipped. Would stay here again.

Exactly as Promised

Great space, great location and no hassle rental process. Near Vatican City, Metro is close by. But walking a lot should be expected if really experiencing the city is the goal. I’d stay here again.

Extremely Decent!

This apartment was clean and a nice place to stay for just two nights, however, I wish I could’ve found something closer the Trevi fountain area because that is where all the attractions are and great restaurants I found. The apartment is right by Vatican City though if that is what your priority is. The apartment is definitely a lot more dingy than the photos suggest. Overall, a good enough place and the people that run it are extremely helpful and nice, but I would search for something a bit better if I could go back to when I was booking this place.

Absolutely Amazing

This spacious, private apartment in Prati was absolutely perfect. The location was wonderful and so close to the Ottaviano metro stop that we could easily get to anywhere in the city. The patio was marvelous, and we enjoyed coffee out there in the morning and wine at night. We found several; fabulous ristorantes nearby, and shopped at both the massive mercato just down the street, and the grocery store just a couple blocks away. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom was of a decent size, and the elevator -- while small -- served our purposes very well. Emanuele checked us in, and he was very thorough in explaining things to us, and showing us all the major attractions in the city. One note: be wary of scammers at Termini, and pickpockets on the trains. They tried to rob both of us, but because we were wary they didn't get anything. If you're considering renting this apartment, do it. You'll be glad you did.

Perfect Rome Vacation

The apartment is in an excellent location and very comfortable. Being close to the metro allowed my wife and I to visit many sites in Rome as well as take day trips to the countryside. We look forward to returning to Rome and staying here again.

Great apartment in a great location

This apartment was clean, well appointed and immediately felt like home. The roof terrace is a wonderful bonus, and the layout worked well for our family of four (two young children). It’s a very short walk from St Peter’s and even closer to the local metro stop. Our only complaint was that the kitchen could haven been better equipped (couldn’t find good knives for cooking). Worth mentioning that the lift doesn’t go quite to the top of the building where this flat is, but that wasn’t a problem for us. Would definitely stay there again.

The apartment was a good size and in a great area. Very close to shops and restaurants and close to the Vatican. We loved sitting out on the balcony and enjoying our morning espresso.

First trip to Rome

The apt was perfect for my family of 4. It is located towards the top of the building- with a nice patio, but not much of a view. Thankfully There was a small 2-3 person elevator… the check in process was easy!

Gemütliche, kleine Wohnung

Die Wohnung im obersten Stock ist sehr gemütlich, aber mit eher älteren Möbeln eingerichtet. Ruhige Wohnung, kaum Geräusche aus anderen Wohnungen. Wir fühlten uns sofort sehr wohl, da von 3 Räumen aus die wunderbare Terrasse erreichbar war. Wir hatten zum Teil sehr warmes Wetter, dadurch standen meistens alle Terrassentüren offen. Auf der Terrasse ist es sehr ruhig. In der Küche gibts einen kleinen Geschirrspüler und einen grossen Kühlschrank. Der Herd ist gasbetrieben. Alles essentielle ist vorhanden. Neueres Bad. Die Wohnung ist bis auf die letzte Etage per Minilift erreichbar. Die letzten 2 Treppen muss man zu Fuss überwinden. ÖV schnell erreichbar, auch zum Flughafen je nach Verkehr mit dem Taxi nur etwa 1/2 Stunde. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nah. Viele Restaurants zu Fuss erreichbar.

Beautiful apartment next to St.Peter

I do try to write in English so more peple might understand it than in German, please excuse the mistakes! We, three adults, had a fantastic week in the apartment. Everything was like in the advertisment. Within 5 minutes you reach the underground and lots of buses and in a 10 minutes walk we were at St.Peter. We once used that fact to be there very early to avoid the queuing, that was brilliant. The apartment itself gives you the feeling of a private room, with lovely pictures, books and good furniture to feel at home and comfortble. In the citchen you found everything, they had salt, pepper, oliveoil and even coffee for us to use, in the bathroom soap and shampoo. Yes, we loved the terrasse, too, to sit in the sun having tea or even breakfast (in February!!) It really is a very nice, quiet appartement to stay in, we hope to come back.

Great rental

The location is great, as it’s close to the Vatican, but away from the hectic pace of Rome. But the Metro is a five minute walk away, so you can be in central Rome in 10 minutes. The apartment is clean, spacious, and filled with art and books. The kitchen could use a few more amenities, like dishes, but we mostly ate out. The patio is good for sitting on while reading or having a glass of wine. I would definitely return to this rental.

What a wonderful place to stay!!

Now firstly , do not be frightened that this apartment is up high!! It’s so worth the easy lift ride. We loved the balcony and the apartment was well appointed and the check in process easy ,hospitable and welcoming. We took advice of the tips from our host and ate in amazing places..fantastico!!!
