"Breakfast room was a large room and clean. However, I was expecting more for a continental breakfast like eggs, maybe some sausage or bacon. Not to be. They have good coffee, a couple cold cereal options, yogurt cups, some bread for toast and biscuits & gravy, oranges and apples. That's about it. There are a couple places across the street to get a fuller breakfast and other places close by to drive to. The rooms are nice and clean. Beds comfortable but high off the floor so if your physically impaired that may be a problem for the challenged."

"The room was clean, bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and nice. The carpet by the sliding door was a little worn. The view was beyond any expectation. Ocean view just as advertised. Listened to the waves every night falling asleep. The beach is full of driftwood, but that did not take away from the amazing experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful."

"Very narrow tub/shower. No ice for drinks,2 ice trays for 4 people, just not enough. Air conditioning less than ideal. On the upper level with all the windows,it just couldn't handle the job very quickly. Thank God bedroom windows opened and a ceiling fan helped with the heat. Otherwise great house and amazing view"

"Wonderful stay! The decorations and timber structure made it feel homey. Very clean and well kept up. Loved the location near the river and in the midst of the mighty redwoods. It was so comforting opening the bedroom window and hearing the water flow by. The small gas stove heater in the living room added a nice touch when it got a little chilly late evening and early morning. Look forward to staying there again sometime."
