"We stayed at this precious cottage for our wedding and honeymoon! It was the perfect place for us. They had absolutely everything for a comfortable stay, (kitchen supplies, laundry things, bathroom essentials, fan, heater, extra bedding and pillows, plenty of towels). It was so clean and very cozy especially with the fireplace. We really enjoyed every aspect of this cabin and loved that it was right on the river. Honestly was so sad to have to part ways with it but we think we will be back at some point. Definitely worth it to stay here! "

"Best VRBO we've ever stayed at. Host was incredibly kind and responsive to questions and requests. The home is whimsical and beautiful but still comfortable and homey. The back yard is picturesque and surrounded by forest. Many incredible hiking trails near by and a quick drive to the beach. This home was perfect for my daughter and I. The little kitchenette was exactly what we needed to make small meals. We couldn't have asked for a better trip to the redwoods. I'm looking forward to staying again in the future. "

"The River House is a great place to stay. The Smith River is beautiful and peaceful, makes it serene. Crescent City, the ocean and redwoods are close by and lots of places to explore. Home has all the amenities needed for your stay. The ping pong table was an extra bonus! Would recommend this home if you want time to relax and explore."

"Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. This home has so much character and is very well appointed. The patio overlooking the river is spectacular. We loved everything about it. "

"Breakfast was very good and not just the usual things. Quiche etc. But still plenty to please the kids. The tree house was very clean for a rustic cabin in a tree. The bed was comfortable. Because you are in a tree the room was very small but a really fun stay and the grandkids had a blast! Great to cook hot dogs and s'mores over the camp fire. Definitely a fun unique place to go especially for families!"
