We’ve stayed in hundreds of vacation rentals/homes over the years, and not a single one has come close to being as beautiful as this place. The listing says “million dollar views,” and that’s exactly what you get absolutely breathtaking from sunrise to sunset.The home itself is freshly renovated and spotless, with every detail thoughtfully done. The brand new hot tub was perfect after a long day exploring, and they even had a dog crate available in case you forget to bring yours such a thoughtful touch for travelers with pets.On top of the incredible home and scenery, the host was fantastic. Anytime I had a question or needed anything, they were quick to respond and genuinely helpful.This was truly one of the best locations, best homes, and best overall stays we’ve ever had. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. We can’t wait to come back!"

"Enjoyed the three levels of living space. Each level has a bathroom (3) and a kitchen and fireplace on two levels. The boys ages 12, 6, and 4 enjoyed the foosball table and games provided. Fireplaces and fire pit have electric timers, so it was safe and convenient. The view of the lake and mountains are spectacular and we enjoyed all the water craft on the lake! "

"The house was spotless at check in. Garrett communicated often & provided a great check in, map & check out file. The house was perfect for our large family (mom/dad) 3 adult children, spouses & granddaughter. The porches are oerfect for gathering & the house is heavily stocked with kitchen items; fridge & freezer space. Beds are comfortable & lines provided are quality! Great fire pit area for smores! The lake was extremely low (mother nature for you) and the trek to the dock & back to house is not for people with heart conditions or in poor health. We managed a trip a day & that was enough for us. Home is very well maintained & we were more than happy with it. Area is very remote & I'm glad we took all food items with us! Late fall is beautiful in nc mountains & we just missed peak leaf season. The weather could not have been more perfect for our weekend. It forced us to slow down for a few days & enjoy time with family. "

"The house and property were beautiful and quiet. The house was perfect for the 4 of us. Chickens roamed the yard every morning. The covered front porch was great when it rained. The owners set the house up with everything you need. The property is only a 10-15 minute drive to grocery, restaurants, and any kind of shopping you may need. Cell service was really pretty good as well! We will definitely return!!"
