"Friendly reception staff, we arrived before check in time, our rooms were ready so we were able to go straight to them which was great after an early start. The view over the marina was stunning. The breakfast experience was lovely - good choice, eating outside in the sun with the view over the marina/sea, and pianist playing. We were given a flower each on our departure day, a nice touch. The only disappointments were that my daughter was unable to borrow an iron, which was bizarre- often there is one provided in every room, or at least one is available on request - and that the water in the indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi was quite cold. The sauna however was lovely. The bedding was good quality as were the blackout curtains, making for a good night's sleep. "

"We enjoyed all the amenities of the home. Swam in the pool end of day, ate BBQ’s on the deck and enjoyed watching the geese and ducks in the morning and evening. Beautiful property, tranquil and well maintained. We even collected some fresh eggs. We really enjoyed our stay and Patricia was always very helpful and quick to respond if we had any questions or issues."

"Had a wonderful week at Casa Alfarroba!Hosts were a delight to deal with......Booking process so quick & efficient, with any questions dealt with speedily. Also provided with lots of information about surrounding area / restaurants etc. Our request to have an earlier check in was accommodated no problem, as there was no changeover prior to our arrival. This was greatly appreciated, as we arrived early morning. We were greeted by the lovely Marina on our arrival, who showed us around & advised she was available to contact throughout our stay, if needed.The villa itself is gorgeous! Spacious, clean, & the kitchen is fabulous! Everything high spec, & everything you could think of was provided. The pool was amazing, with fabulous views over the countryside.The location is perfect- Only 20 mins drive from airport, & easy to follow instructions were provided of how to find.Supermarkets literally 5 mins drive away. The villa's setting is rural, up on the hill looking down at Faro. We like a quiet relaxing holiday "away from it all" & this is certainly what we got! We found it difficult to tear ourselves away from the villa during the week, but we did on a few occasions to sample a couple of nearby traditional Portuguese restaurants. This is by far the best villa we have stayed in over many years holidaying in Portugal! Thankyou for sharing your beautiful home & we would love to return again!"

"Just back from a lovely relaxing stay at Villa Sofia. Villa is as advertised and Joao our host was great. Contact before and during our stay was good. Answering our questions and sorting out a couple of small issues immediately. He sent us lots of information about facilities and places of interest to visit in the surrounding area. The villa is situated in a quiet area and I would say a car is essential. We are already looking forward to our next visit."
