The villa was spacious and beautifully decorated, the gardens peaceful, the view inspirational, the pool huge and refreshing and the property owner on site was so lovely, kind and helpful. The location is fantastic if you want a true Portuguese hillside retreat from which to explore. Cannot fault this property. Feel blessed to have stayed here! "

"We have nothing but positives to say about the property. If you are looking for somewhere away from it all, yet close enough to the sea and resorts, this is the place for you. You will need a car though.The pool is clean, cool and a welcome relief from the summer heat.We had a couple of issues during our 2 week stay, but Angie was always immediately on hand and got them resovled in no time.Yes there are wasps, mosquitos, ants and all sorts of other insects aplenty, but when visiting rural Portugal, it's to be expected.We would recommend visiting some of the islands of the Ria Formosa. We got the ferry from Olhao to Culatra and to Armona. Absolutely stunning beaches with beatiful white sand, Turquoise crystal clear water and fish everywhere.We also went dolphin spotting with Pudim Real Boat Tours from Faro, and woudl recommed."

"We had a great week relaxing at this property. The pool and garden are fabulous. A really peaceful location but within an easy drive to everything we wanted to see and do in the area. The host was was very helpful when called upon but also respectful of our privacy at other times."

"Stayed for 3 nights at the end of a week stay further up the Algarve. Great views! Villa is older but large, clean and spacious with AMAZING views. Be aware, it's a good 5-minute drive uphill to the villa. Great games room for the kids when hot and easy to get to Estoi, Faro and Olhoa. There is little shade (if any round the pool)."

"We had a great time at the villa. Good location that was far enough from the busy areas to feel peaceful but close enough to feel easy for food/airport etc. The villa was clean and spacious. The management team was responsive and quick to help us out if needed.Our main critique would be that the downstairs bedroom does not have air conditioning like the upstairs ones - it got extremely hot in there. It would also have been nice to have some umbrellas to create some shade around the pool. Overall a fabulous experience though!"
