"We had a great stay here with a lovely view over to camber castle. This hotel is in a perfect location in the town just around the corner from the church, mermaid street and Lamb House. Outside is a lovely viewing point. It was very peaceful and quiet at night. There is a little bar downstairs which was handy for a post hike drink (lovely bar room and quiet). The breakfast - you can choose what you want which was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place in Rye. Very good value. Also very easy to walk over to Romney Marsh and see Camber Castle (we did a morning walk here). We’ll be coming back again. "

"A lovely places to stay in prime location for Rye and Camber. The room was well laid out, clean and the bed extra comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and the restaurant/bar had a great ambiance. The staff were so helpful. The only let down was that the shower was scalding and could not be turned down, meaning neither of us could was our hair or shower properly. "

"Such a sweet little cottage right in the centre of Rye. Great communication with the host. Very functional kitchen, netflix on the tv, fire starters and kindling for the fire, warm house when heating is on, comfortable beds and good pressure on the shower. "

"The Hotel/Pub is very clean and has a reasonably extensive food and drinks menu. My room (9) was a little small but as a single occupant, it was very adequate. It had a kettle and all the condiments, including some biscuits. A water jug was also supplied. The staff were very attentive and professional. A quick shout to Amelia who went out of her way to provide perfect customer satisfaction. I have stayed before and will definitely stay again."
