Great place by the river. Room was clean with a river view. We did not have any shampoo or shower gel in the room and if you have booked breakfast they would hand you some yogurt ,cereal and a cake when you check in for you to take to your room and eat it the second day. I would recommend the place

It was a beautiful location. Our room was so bright with two windows and a patio door that lead out to a huge balcony overlooking the River. Receptionist was amazing. We are returning for sure.

The first room I had there were ants crawling all over the walls everywhere. The whirlpool tub didn't work also. So my first night was not pleasant at all...the next day I went to the administration and they changed my room for a bigger room right next door...no ants and the jet tub worked. I was actually happy the tub didn't work as my room was changed on this account but the ants was not a spring time issue there's a nest under the patio door as that was the location they were entering from. If this did not happen I would give this spa a 5 star rating. The rest of my stay was excellent...the room...the fireplace...the river view spectacular!...Thank you to Jean Guy and Elisa for yoga and Mageline for the suberp massage...I did not get to try the hot baths or other amenities but there were always people using these facilities...next time!...thank you Also to Princess Marie and Patricia at the front desk j'ai bien pratiquer mon francais.

Just open the patio door on the balcony and ear the river flow all night long was so relaxing… Never slept that well! Love the place. But Hotels.com should offer the room with the spa special, because I thought that we had it and I had to pay for it.

I loved it so much I had to book another weekend. The Cozy Cabin was absolutely charming, a rustic old wood cabin tucked into the woods with the wonderful sound of the river below. Sitting on the screen enclosed veranda watching the river with a coffee was sublime. The spa facilities were fantastic so many different options. I couldn’t have asked for more relaxing weekend.

The location by the river is incredible! We loved walking out of our balcony and heading down to the river to relax. They had hammocks, zero gravity chairs, and Adirondack chairs everywhere. The autumn leaves were beautiful. We loved walking to the spa from our room, the heated pools surrounded by natural stone were definitely a highlight for us. Morning, afternoon, and evening all had special views as we watched the sun rise and set each day and enjoyed relaxing in the moonlight. We also joined for yoga and the instructor and venue are incredible offering service in both French and English. This was a quiet, romantic, and relaxing stay and the staff made us feel at home. We came to celebrate our anniversary and this will likely become an annual tradition for us even though we are from Saskatchewan. Thank you so much for making our stay incredible!

Unique because it offered a quiet and serene experience with or without the spa option. The premises were clean and safe and bathroom nicely updated. Nice size veranda with table and comfy chairs. However the queen size room we were in could have used a furniture facelift. The rocking chair was old with soiled cushion; coffee maker was not functioning; and the bureau’s drawers did not slide in and out easily. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would happily return’ for another stay.

Do not book this place if you are arriving by bike. It’s very difficult to get to from off the trail. Nice once we got there but the staff were not so friendly. It wouldn’t take much.

the shower was terrible, after 10 minutes of regulation the water the pressure was very weak. the furniture in the unit is very old and last the breakfast , we paid $25 for lunch box which was included: 2 yogurt's, 2 apples, 2 chocolate bars, 2little brownie's, 2 box of jus. please don't call this breakfast. but the staff was nice

Beautiful riverside location that you can swim in. They offer a limited but delicious menu until 7 pm. All the facilities were very clean and ready when we wanted to use them. We rode in on bicycles and the staff put them secure storage until we left. It is a 3.8 km bike ride from le P'tit Train du Nord trail marker 25.7 up a moderate hill (lots of cafes along the route to the Auberge).
