"I want to start by saying Carol was great for the entire booking and check-in. From the photos and the way the description reads, I thought the cabin would be just a little bigger. Some of my lower ratings were based for a family of four because there just wasn’t a lot of room for that many people. A couple would likely enjoy this listing much more.Everything else was fantastic! The cabin is literally right off the creek, so there is great access to go play in the water. It is an easy stroll to any of the trendy shops on Main, but check the hours on any places you might want to check out. Most of the places don’t open till around 10am. Although their hours list till 5pm, many will close up shop early if business is kind of slow, so catch them right as they open, knock out your shopping early, then go rest your footsies in the creek.There is a lodge hosted by the same host adjacent to the cabin, so I’ll be checking that place out for future family gatherings in Central Texas. Thank you, Carol for everything!"

Lake Access - Private Pool - 2 Acres Retreat

"All the rooms were nice and clean with great open space to move around. The bedding blankets in the bunk room were the best hands down, so soft and light. The host was quick to respond back within minutes and always kept us informed with cleaners stopping by. The hot tub and pool were a huge plus especially traveling with the kids. The pool waterfall never worked, but we also didnt try to find the switch. The foosball table was a huge hit with tons of play time at night between the kids and adults. The trail to the lake behind the house really needs to be cleaned up and cleared out a bit. Thorns were becoming overgrown and bushes were out of control to get by. The view to the lake is priceless and worth the 4 minute hike to get there. Back porch area is the best, at night you can hear the animals get close to the ledge where your chairs are sitting. Be careful though because there is a wasp nest in between the pillars and we had to move a few times as to not get stung. The sink clogged up a few times and the plunger on hand isn't the greatest, very flimsy and annoying to constantly readjust. No can opener available, I searched every drawer and cabinet, so be sure to bring your own or hopefully the host will add one to the kitchen. Plenty of dishes, pots and pans as well as seasoning. More silverware would be nice, aluminum foil for grill would also be a plus and storage containers or ziploc bags added. All in all, location was great and the house was perfect for our stay."
