"The staff was so kind and helpful! We loved the "old" feel of this historic hotel but it would not be ideal for those who prefer new and/or modern. The building is beautiful but does show its age in ways. The location is extremely convenient to Natural Bridge hiking and we enjoyed a lantern tour in the dark. "One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed In over the last 20+ years of frequent travel. First, there is not enough parking in the motel as it appeared many guests are living there. So you have to park in the overflow across the street, not the end of the world but not ideal. Also, upon arrival, we noticed one side of the building was completely caved in from an apparent vehicle ramming and caution taped off. Again, not earth shattering, but not a great aesthetic either.
