Great location close to everything and easy walk to restaurants, grocery stores and the beach. Property was kept very clean. Bedrooms were pretty noisy being right on the main road.

Our stay was amazing! The place was beautiful and clean and they even upgraded us to a bigger room with no extra cost. Definitely recommend this place, it’s like a luxurious hotel but at a great price!

Very enjoyable, well managed condo style property 2 blocks from one of the most amazing beaches you’ll ever visit. Great little pool to cool down (or to swim in the hot rain), and very friendly and attentive staff. Sámara is a gem and so is this place. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Stayed between Dec 17-23 in the studio apartment with my daughter. Great place! Close to everything. Very clean. Great pool/deck area. Customer service via WhatsApp and in person was easy. They booked our excursions and helped with local reccomendations. Has only 9 units so it’s quiet. Beach is a 3 min walk. Grocery is 5 min walk. Great bakery a minute away. We will stay here again.

Wow! This place was amazing. We were here in the off season and had a great experience - especially with our room upgrade! Front desk service was fantastic giving us plenty of recommendations. Every space, including the pool, was exceptionally clean and well kept.

I really enjoyed my time at Residencia Samara. The location is perfect—close to the beach, restaurants, and everything you need, yet still quiet enough to relax. The property is clean, safe, and has a great local vibe. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the space felt comfortable and welcoming. Spacious, clean, great pool, and location!

Residencias Samara is an oasis within the oasis of Samara. From the friendly staff to the comfortable rooms, Residencias Samara was the perfect homebase for the Samara leg of our honeymoon. We found it to be wonderfully relaxing and well situated within town and close to the beach. We spent a significant portion of our time enjoying the pool when not at the beach or the great restaurants nearby. We would definitely pick Residencias Samara again on a return trip in the future.

Our suite was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It was a lovely, air-conditioned space to come back to after excursions to the beach and town. It's a very convenient location. The staff is friendly and helpful. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Had a wonderful experience at Residencias Samara. A stones throw away from everything in Samara, bakeries, restaurants, beach, activities, swimming and live music. Rooms are well equipped clean and spacious. Fans and AC work well. Kitchen well appointed. Shower had plenty of hot water. Laundary facilities provided. Pool was great and staff was great for arranging activities and giving useful advice. Would highly recommend this location.

Comfortable, clean, safe place for a family

We had a really nice stay at Residencies Samara with my family. The place was immaculately clean and very comfortable. It was about a block down to the beach, and the hotel let us borrow boogie boards and sand toys for our kids. Our kids loved the pool. We felt very safe there. There were lots of restaurants within walking distance. Our kids did surf lessons with Tico's Surf School and had a great time. We contacted the property for recommendations on things to do in the area, and they recommended and set up a dolphin boat tour for us with Samara Adventures. We were picked up at the property, and had the BEST day. We saw tons of dolphins, several humpback whales.

We are a family of 4 with kids ages 7 and 12. This place was absolutely perfect for us. The friendliest staff and super clean. It has all the necessities for cooking if you'd like but it's also right in town near all the restaurants, groceries, shopping and the beach. We stayed at 5 different places in Costa Rica on our trip and this was by far the best accommodations. It is updated really nice and the pool area is really nice as well. The bedding was really comfortable and there's in room wifi. Another nice feature is that there is a key lock box outside the front door so that you can lock the apartment but not have to take the keys with you. They also have a laundry service if you need it. We used it and it was great. Don't hesitate to book this place.

The location of this property is nice as you can walk through town on the way to the beach. The deck and pool is also a nice place to hang out. The big downside are all of the additional and somewhat "hidden" fees. Laundry was listed as an amenity on Expedia yet we were charged $24 for a small, single load. There was also a "cleaning fee" despite the notice that there is NO daily cleaning. A nightly fee for our 6 year old child ("extra guest") and also a fee for a roll away bed we could have done without. All of these fees were unbeknownst to us until we looked into the bill further. There was also a large storm one evening which left the property without running water well into the next day when we checked out, however, there might not be much the hotel can do about that.
