"I stayed at Casona 1914 this August 2026 and it was beyond my expectations. From before I arrived, questions i had were answered quickly and thoroughly. The breakfast in the morning was nice and very well set up. You can see the hardwork that goes into providing a comfortable stay for guests and elegance throughout. This was my first time in Ecuador and I felt at home here the entire time. Although you can hear some city noise at times, that was expected as it is in the historic center and did not take away from the stay. Overall, you can’t go wrong with this great boutique hotel"

"So happy found this gem in the Centro Historico. It’s located in easy walking distance to most of the sites of the Centro Historico. Miryan was a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed. Her staff were wonderful and kind and the Hotel is very clean despite being historic. Breakfast (included) each morning was coffee/juice, fresh fruit, fresh eggs and local bread pastries. We stayed in a *spacious* “family room” loft room with lots of wooden access - our 2 kids got to sleep in their own beds in the loft which was much better than a hotel where they’d have to share a bed!.Despite being on a city street the room was very quiet with new windows. The hotel can arrange for cars and tours if needed and has a small gift shop in addition. We felt safe throughout our stay and walking around the Centro Historico while stores were open. Miryan gave us some small parting gifts to remember our time in Quito by. Would highly recommend this hotel to travelers looking for location and charm with good hospitality."

This place has all the touches of any five star hotel… and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Staff was super professional and always willing to help with any situation and or resolution.. whoever owns this hotel is truly a gem."

The staff was incredibly attentive and made our honeymoon extra special by upgrading our room and welcoming us with two glasses of wine—a thoughtful touch that we really appreciated.
