"This a very different setup than most BnB’s, there are six cottages surrounding a beautiful lawn, lots of greenery and flowers. A main building houses the eating and common area. The hosts were so welcoming and informative. Thank you for a very nice stay."

"The unit was clean and comfortable, with amazing views and great natural light. It was easy to access and easy to find. One thing we were not aware of was the HOA rules about parking, and we had rented a small RV to drive to Durango that was not welcome. So we had to get creative about where we parked the RV. Luckily we were visiting family who lived close and they allowed us to park at their place, and with some creativity and a lot of vehicle sharing, we only had to walk once. The neighborhood was quiet and we were very comfortable. The owners made sure to have everything on hand that we needed for a restful stay - plenty of room, lots of personal care items, and suggestions about food and activities."

"Very nice property. Located conveniently about 8 miles north of Durango. It’s an easy drive to Durango to eat, shop, or do activities like white water rafting or ziplines. The property is in a quiet little subdivision and backs up directly to a really great hiking trail up the mountain. We took our White Shepherd on this trail multiple times and he loved it. We went a couple miles on this trail. Great views of the valley and mountains. The house itself is set up nicely. The bedrooms are all downstairs and the kitchen and living room are upstairs. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, and the other kitchen essentials you need to cook. It cooled down at night when we opened the windows. They provided lots of amenities to get us going like soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. We saw lots of wildlife right out the back windows. There are 3 or 4 turkeys that would come in the AM and PM and be right at the bottom of the deck. We saw some deer and even a bear! The neighbors were mostly friendly and nice. We sat out on the back deck in the afternoon and evening and it was very peaceful. Purgatory ski resort is an easy 30 minute drive up 550. The National Forest is as well. The Durango Hot Springs Spa and Resort is literally 5 minutes from the house. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Durango."

"My fault for not looking closely to the A/C, assumed central air but symbol was window units. Photos do not show window units. Three of the upstairs bedrooms were overly warm in the hot July afternoon, only ceiling fans and floor fans. Windows open before bed, fans on and by morning rooms were a reasonable temperature. A small hole in the kitchen ceiling and one downstairs bedroom floor were a little distressing. Kids enjoyed running on the front lawn and seeing the deer in the early morning."
