It’s just steps from the beach and within walking distance of amazing shops and restaurants. I came here to destress from busy city life, and the moment I arrived, I felt completely at ease. The space is fresh, beautifully designed, and instantly feels like home. The entire team was wonderful — from the front desk to the bar, restaurant, management, and even the surf shack staff. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to be there, which created such a positive atmosphere throughout my stay. The food deserves a special mention. Chef Oliver has truly curated something special — a high-end yet relaxed dining experience that captures the spirit of Nosara. "Hotel Pasatiempo is an oasis in Tamarindo! There is a lush garden throughout the property and you can see a variety of animals like monkeys, iguanas, raccoons, etc. It has air conditioned/ceiling fans, spacious and very clean cabanas with wonderful patios. The pool is has lots of seating around it and is a nice option from going to the beach. The beach is across the main road in Tamarindo and there are many restaurants and shops right there. The hotel has a bar and restaurant also. The staff is super friendly and accommodating! I love it there!! My one recommendation is to have a variety of pillows. 😁"

"My fiancé and I were traveling and checked into our rented condo, but unfortunately the AC was broken. We looked up AZURE and decided to check out this location for our week-long stay. From the minute we walked in the door, the staff was kind and welcoming, and we received a tour of the resort and immediately fell in love with it. We decided to book and stay for the week. I have had the opportunity to travel to other all‑inclusive locations, and this one was by far the best place I have stayed at. This resort is truly 5 stars. The staff, food, and rooms were all top‑notch. This is a smaller, adults‑only resort; we enjoyed the pools and quiet atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to relax and unwind."
