"If you dislike the sound of trains at night, make sure to book a room on the ocean side. I was on the ocean side, but, I could still hear the trains, it was not disturbing. Make sure you arrange a taxi if you are unable to carry luggage up a steep hill. Walking up and down to lovely Moneglia can be an issue for elderly unfit guests. I love the hotel and Moneglia. My third time at Mondial. I will go again. Bell"

"Although the drive to Moneglia was a bit scary, the town and the apartment were wonderful. If you are looking for a peaceful town with very few tourists, this is your spot. The apartment was large and well equipped. The outdoor spaces were great with breathtaking views of the town, sea and surrounding mountains. You are able to catch trains to and from Cinque Terre from the town. "
