The historic center of Santiago de Compostela stands as the magnificent finale to Europe's famous pilgrimage route. Medieval stone streets wind around the towering cathedral where St. James is said to rest. Pilgrims and travelers alike gather in baroque squares beneath ancient granite facades. Despite crowds near the cathedral, quiet side streets reveal the authentic character of this remarkable pilgrimage destination.

Fontiñas

While Fontiñas might not have many sights to explore, venturing just a little farther will lead you to top things to see and do like Mercado de Abastos de Santiago and Plaza de la Quintana.
