My experience at Rig puerto malecon was beyond my expectations the hotel was clean and a safe environment wich isthe most important for me i to thank cristopher for always helping me in anything that i need it and also Antonia for always making sure my room was clean and in general the whole staff was amazing i will definitely consider this hotel as my number one choice to stay when im back at the Dominican Republic

We had an ocean view room during our stay which was amazing! The city was beautiful, the staff was attentive and friendly and worked hard to ensure all our needs were met by truly going above and beyond to arrange transportation to the hotel! The room and bathroom were spotless. The only thing I wish they had were small washcloths for your face or body, but that may be an American culture thing. I know they have a few projects in progress for the rooftop lounge/bar area so once those are finished this hotel will be even more of a catch! Thank you to everyone who contributed to our stay! I would highly recommend anyone and everyone to stay here 10/10!!

Great staff, great location

Alex was very helpful when I needed to change rooms. He went above and beyond for me. The staff at both RIG properties are amazing. The cleaning staff and the breakfast staff were also very helpful. I believe the name of the young lady running the rooftop bar is Jennifer. She made my stay a pleasure as well.

The first was like a closet and the fridge kept leaking the first three nites. It ruined our clothes. The customer service was great. The restaurant breakfast was average. Jennifer, Christopher, Jholey, and Antonio were very welcoming. 10/10. The pools and rooftop and bar were also wonderful.

The hotel is in zona colonial & is A very nice boutique hotel indeed close to all tourist attractions. The main issue was the wifi as it was completely disastrous given it was disconnecting constantly and for someone like my self who works remote , it was far from ideal. Also very strange that they had a good breakfast included but no water was provided free which needs to be rectified as it seemed very silly. If they rectify these issues mainly with internet and breakfast it can be quite a nice stay indeed . The staff were very friendly but couldn’t assist with the internet issues & u can explicit lot of traffic noise given it’s on a Main Street
