This hotel has a fabulous beachfront location, just steps from the ocean. The beach has gentle waves that are ideal for little ones. The coastal forest setting gives the property a unique, peaceful atmosphere that helps you feel truly disconnected from the surrounding town. The rooms are nice and clean, the food is good, and the staff is friendly and helpful especially Jonathan at the restaurant.

We had very good communication pre check in. The front desk was responsive and supportive when there was an issue with my credit card. Sebastian at the front desk was great. We also enjoyed Fabio, our server in the restaurant. Very personable and helped us with our Spanish. The property is beautiful and so tranquil.

Vacation in a jungle tree house!! This hotel is so unique and built into and around the trees at the edge of the jungle. The hotel is right on the beach, but if you turn to look back when you are in the water, the hotel is not visible! The service team is outstanding and the food was fine (we added short uber trip to Del Coco beach for more restaurant options). Beautiful quiet beach with warm water and fun jungle pool with hot tub. Loved it!

Beautiful property. Very clean, quiet, peaceful. Just sitting in the room felt like a holiday itself! Staff were attentive and courteous. Food at the hotel restaurant was very good. We saw monkeys, iguanas, and raccoons at the pool. Beach is truly beautiful. Very calm, minimal waves. This is my perfect type of beach. My young teens, however, said that the beach was "too boring" after having been at some beaches with more waves/surf. This was our last stop on our way home after 2 weeks spent checking out different areas in Costa Rica.

Pictures dont do this place justice. Everyone was super professional and kind. The beach view room was amazing. There was a family of monkeys hanging out, and an iguana on a limb that was literally the size of a komodo dragon, no joke! Walking distance to many other beachside bars. At night the beach has thousands of hermit crabs so walk light. Will stay here again, no disappointments.

Beautiful property right on Playa Hermosa. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Our room was clean, spacious and a lovely view of the greenery surrounding the hotel and pool. There was some construction noise but we were there during the off season so not surprising. The hot tub was cool one evening but much warmer another. The area felt safe and calm. Expedia offered a 20% discount on a tour but the hotel only offered it for kayak/paddleboard rentals, a bit disappointing but the stay was otherwise fantastic. I would definitely return!
