"The room was clean and nice. Breakfast was lacking. The hot tub was cold. I let staff know and they didn’t do anything about it. I called down a few hours later and a different staff person had it taken care of in 10 minutes. Too late by then to use it. "

"The room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed having a table and chairs to sit at. The pool and hot tub were cozy. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They have coffee available all day in the lobby and tea and snacks in the afternoon. Location was very accessible to downtown Galena, and they offer a shuttle service during specific times in the day. Breakfast in the morning was excellent! There was a buffet of fruit, bread, yogurt, and juices. Breakfast is served individually and included eggs, wonderful potatoes, breakfast meat, and option for pancakes. The overall Irish atmosphere, decor, and attention to theme also made for a fun experience."

"Free breakfast was not offered. We were told its only available Saturday and Sunday. Staff were rude and short with us when we had questions. The whole place smelled like smoke even though we paid for a smoke free room."

"Charged $10 per person to use the pool, walked into our room and the windows were taped closed because the windows lock bolts were broken. The bathroom had used wet towels. There was used toilet paper in the toilet, stains on the sheets. Overall just a terrible experience and we were only there for 15 mins. Smelled terrible in the building also."

We come from 4 different states and this is a great location for us. The property description is very accurate, the kitchen is stocked well with serving trays, dishes, pans etc. It was all very clean and sparkly when we arrived with unique little touches throughout the house. The bedrooms all have their own theme and the decorations are amazing! My one sister went from eoomto room just admiring and enjoying all the themed decorations! It was so fun!!The property managers answered and addressed any questions we had very promptly. I would definitely recommend this place! In fact we are trying to reserve it again for our next Sibling Connection!"
