"Room quite small Bathroom adequate The building itself is very complicated to get to the roof Terrace and the gym with different elevators The combination of the student accommodation and hotel is okay, but not a great fit The bar on the roof is open to the public which is fair enough but they should prioritise hotel guest which they don’t given the fact that we’re paying to stay there they should. "Very close to airport but literally no on-site parking. We returned rental car early and took a taxi to airport the next morning due to lack of parking. Room was very small but we only needed it for one night before departure from Florence."

"The hotel is in walking distance of major attractions is clean and comfortable. That staff are great and willing to converse with you and the hotel itself has a great history. Would recommend the hotel and would stay there again should i visit Florence. Shout out to Alessandro who looked after us during aperitivo. "

"This was a wonderful hotel! The location was perfect for sight seeing and a quick walk to the train station. The hotel was wonderfully clean with nice linens. Enjoyed the breakfast and the staff very much! Wish we had stayed a few more nights there."

"The staff were outstanding. Got there 2 hours early to drop our cases and the receptionist found a room so we were able to check in early. Very good location, quiet but close to centre and breakfast was amazing. Lovely touch having a coffee machine in our large and airy room. Bathroom products smelt wonderful, apparently they are specially made for the hotel. Would definitely stay here again."

"The building doesn’t look like it has had any money spent on it since the 1980’s.Very shabby hotel, shame on the owners, it could be fab. Had holes in sheets and towels. "Location of the hotel was perfect for touring the city of Florence. Staff was very friendly and courteous very outgoing, hotel room and property very clean. Breakfast did not offer many choices. I would not recommend breakfast at the hotel."

"I would definitly book again if ever in Florence, the staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and had everything you need. In the lobby there are 2 restaurants, a pooltable, a lot of seatings to just chill or work. Right across the hotel there is transportation to city or the station. No bad remark about this hotel."

"Perfect location for exploring Florence. 1mile from the train station (20 min walk). Overlooking the river. Clean. Staff friendly. Good selection of food at breakfast. A lovely terrace to sit on and watch the world go by. Free tea/coffee/water provided throughout the day. Would definitely recommend others to stay at the Hotel Silla! "
