"I enjoyed a relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Carlton hotel. My room was very nice, comfortable bed, clean, nice decor. The Carlton Hotel is in an excellent location opposite the famous Raffles Hotel. It is close to Raffles City shopping centre, City Hall MRT, streets of small shops, underground arcade that leads to Suntec City. All the staff at the Carlton Hotel were excellent, courteous, helpful and friendly."

The ALoft offers a free shuttle to and from the Metro, or will arrange a taxi for you at reception. The food from breakfast to dinner is superb, and there is an adjoining mall with a variety of fast-food and restaurants. Don't pass ALoft by when you visit Singapore for business, pleasure, or to join a cruise."

"Great location - above the Sommerset MRT station and near a few bus stops. The hotel is also surrounded by a few malls with lots of food and shopping options. Room is solidly appointed. Nice view from the pool. Staff were friendly and efficient. Though they messed up during check-in and forgot to request for my signature, so I had to go back to do that."
