In Sequim, located on 7 acres, lies a cozy two-bedroom cottage, ideal for your upcoming getaway. As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, grill, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, coffee, spices and all the necessary dishes. Unwind in the cozy living room, where a smart TV, with Roku allows you to choose your favorite app and sign in .

Venture outside and relax on the porch, surrounded by the natural beauty of the area and in particular, the gardens off the porch. Enjoy the deer, quail, many varieties of birds. One type of Hummer spends all winter here. Watch the antics of Woodpeckers, Chickadee's, Junko's, etc. You will most likely see hawks, eagles, maybe an owl. Take a 26-minute drive to explore the stunning Olympic National Park, or head to the nearby John Wayne Marina, just an 11-minute drive away. After a day of adventure, visit a restaurant, sip wine on the porch, or relax in the cottage.
I charge a reasonable pet fee. All flooring is cleaned after a pet visits. This takes extra cleaning and sanitizing. 2 small dogs max. 1 large dog max.

The cottage was cozy and perfect for our getaway to the Olympic Peninsula. We were wanting a quiet location and Veronica's cottage provided that along with a nice country setting. There are many convenient stores and restaurants nearby but not so close that you felt the hustle and bustle of the city. It is also a great jumping off point to exploring the towns and trails on the Olympic Peninsula. Everything we needed was provided and the communication was great. We would highly recommend!

I love staying here. This visit was my second time. My favorite thing is sitting on the porch and watching the hummingbirds and quail; so relaxing and funny too. The cottage is well supplied for not only the kitchen and bath but also with park and outdoor information. In fact it is a great location for outdoors parks. I will definitely go back again.

Quite drive in to a large garden property full of bird attracting plants with Mountain View’s. Clean, comfortable and perfect for our dog getting to roam safely at the property.

Simple, comfortable, clean in Sequim

I stayed at the Mountain View Cottage (no exaggeration there) for the Olympic Bird Fest in early April. Walking distance of the Festival HQ at Dungeness Nature Center.With a kitchen I had options to eat out or prep my own meals, especially breakfast/lunch for all-day outings. Short drive to a wide selection of restaurants, grocery shopping convenient. Many hiking/ cultural opportunities in the area.

Fantastic property with a super clean house, great living spaces and an amazing setting surrounded by a lovely garden and a view of the mountains. Deer, hummingbirds and other wildlife abound! The house is well appointed, with everything you can think of from laundry machines to binoculars to Q-tips. Great kitchen, grill, easy parking. Local to lots: dungeness spit, restaurants, grocery, transit center (our son met us by bus). Veronica is communicative, very pleasant and accessible if you need something. I was a little wary because they allow dogs, but the place is immaculate. Super cute and I wish we were staying longer. We’ll be back!

Can’t wait to go back!

We had a fantastic stay at this property! Communication with the host was seamless, and everything was spotless upon arrival. The highlight of our trip was definitely the birdwatching—there were so many different feeders, and the host provided great resources to help identify the birds, along with binoculars for a closer look. Watching the sunrise and sunset from the property was absolutely beautiful. It was such a peaceful and memorable experience, and we can’t wait to come back!

My Favorite VRBO

Love this little VRBO. Beautiful spot and great location if you want to hike or bike the nearby trail or head over to the spot. The backyard is a bird sanctuary. Fun to watch them! I'll keep going back.

Quiet Cottage

We absolutely loved our stay here. It’s not often that we find such a gem of a place when we travel with our big dog. He was so happy exploring the fully fenced in yard which is gorgeous and a bird watcher’s paradise. The mountain views are stunning. Veronica was a lovely host and we felt welcome from the moment we booked our stay. The cottage is super cute and Veronica thought of all the details to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. Cozy, comfortable house with beautiful views

This little house has everything we needed. The view of the mountains was amazing and the yard around the house is full of birds. Bed was comfortable, so was the couch -- and there was a rocking chair. Lots of extras for our comfort -- throws, cushions, hand lotion in the bathroom, a flashlight, an extra dog leash. We love it and hope to return soon.

We stopped at this lovely cottage on our Olympic Peninsula trip, and it was wonderful. Everything was clean and organized and we enjoyed watching the birds. The mountain views were amazing! Would recommend to others.
