Very Good

Property was exactly as described. It was super peaceful and we really enjoyed our stay. The only issue we had was that we didn’t have a stove during our stay but the host was excellent at compensating for that and had very good communication. Even with this small mishap it still deserves 5 stars!!
The host or the team member we spoke to was very very helpful and responded quickly. The only downsides were the Oven not working which they did send out someone to look at and the wifi not working which they also said they had to replace the router. The property was very clean and comfortable. The only things I probably would have added or changed would be the blankets being thicker but thats just my preference. I definitely recommend and we will definitely be bookinh again in the future.
Beautiful property with lots of seating area for relaxing outside. The road leading up is an adventure. But over all it was a really nice cabin and area.
The hot tub was nice and very clean. We loved the location of the property, very private, easy to get to and beautiful property. Easy check in, the host communicated well. The only issue while there was a breaker kicked while trying to use the microwave and we couldn't find the box to turn it back on. We will definitely return to this property again.
We loved our stay at the cabin and certainly would stay again. There is mountain view from front porch, wooded in the back. We thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace and outdoor clay fire pit (bring your own wood, this is noted in the description), hot tub, and a more private setting (you can see the neighboring cabin on the left from the back porch but still a nice distance). There were a couple minor things worth noting. The previous guests did not take out the kitchen trash and cleaning people missed it, the microwave we had to move because the sockets didn’t work on the right side of the kitchen, blender did not work, the guest shower made a loud screeching when turned on, the shower water only stayed hot for about 10 min. This did not impact our stay and still had a wonderful time. The hot tub was wonderful, outdoor porches we greatly enjoyed, beds were comfortable, cozy and warm feeling inside, the living room has a massage chair, and the kitchen had plenty of appliances and spices. We like the feeling of seclusion and privacy, which this offered. It’s about 12 min. to a grocery store, 20-25 min to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. This is ran by a company and had excellent communication. We had an AWD SUV & 4 wheel drive truck and still struggled a little bit to get up the road the cabin was on with NO winter conditions. It would be required to have this type of vehicle in snow. *We brought our own decorations and tree for Christmas, they do not decorate*
The cabin was perfect for our stay! The hot tub was perfect! The only downside to our stay was the oven was not working, but the communication for getting the issues resolved were great. It was not ideal for it to not be working, but we still had a great time.
Overall great place. We really enjoyed our stay there. My reason for a 4 star is just some small things. Dirty dishes, wish we would have had more towels, since there is a hot tub (which we loved) my husband said the top for the hot tub, a part of it, is broken. It was difficult to get off and on and off. Cute place. Love the front porch.
The cabin was just as described. It was a decent drive to town or sights but it was quiet and peaceful. The home was just as it was listed. Plenty of room. The hot tub had a broken cover but that was communicated to us before check in. Still functional but broken. Not a huge deal.We would stay again. It was a longer drive to the sights than we realized but that was on us and not the listing. The drive up the shared neighborhood driveway was intense every time we did it, but so cool to be way up. We had a
Very very nice place just what we needed and the host kept constant contact! Even alerted us of bad weather!

Had planned a trip to a cabin in the woods to relax and just stream our favorite tv shows. There was no internet the entire time we were there. Very disappointed!

Overall I enjoyed the cabin but I was very disappointed because the hot tub was nasty. I was looking forward to that but was unable to use.
The water quality in the hot tub could of been better. It did not appear the chemicals had been applied lately, however we did still use it & enjoyed it. The place was very peaceful & had everything we could possible need. We throughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!!
The home is beautiful. The pictures don't do the home justice. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very nicely sized. The only thing that would make the stay better was having the thermostat unlocked. As a southerner the inside temp of 65 degrees was quite cold for my family in november. Or at least be aware so you can purchase firewood before heading up to the home to stay warm

Grand Welcome Vacations was not fair at issuing a refund for the nights we did not stay as I emailed right away about the oven not working to make food and how that was the purpose of renting in the mountains and not getting a hotel. They made suggestions on out to eat which is 20-30 minutes away so basically a hour total each time we wanted to have a meal. I would have booked a hotel on the first place that was cheaper and in town. And the response was the oven is getting replaced as you can tell from the picture I sent they have been having issues with the oven as wires were sticking out. I feel my refund of two nights that we did not stay was not given and therefore poor review based on the management. The views were great with the steep hills and very narrow road.
Before booking this VRBO, I contacted the host because we were coming to town for the Pontiacs of Pigeon Forge show and would need to park a car trailer on the property during the last part of our stay. I specifically asked whether both the roads and the property could accommodate a truck and trailer. The host advised that the roads were somewhat steep and curvy but well maintained, and that the property would have no issues accommodating the trailer.Unfortunately, upon arrival, it became clear that there was no practical way to get the trailer into the driveway without risking damage to either our trailer or the metal gate at the entrance. When I contacted the host, they stated they had never told us the property could accommodate the trailer, despite my having the message confirming otherwise.Because of this misinformation, we had to make alternate arrangements and leave two days early. I requested a partial refund for the unused nights. I was told on June 5 that they would "check into it and get back with me," but I never received a resolution. I initially reached out on June 3 via text and later through VRBO messages after not receiving a response to the phone number that had previously been used for communication. The cabin itself was clean and generally as described. The front porch was enjoyable, although I did need to do some minor cleaning before using it. The back deck furniture was covered in bird droppings, making that space essentially unusable unless I want
The value of the stay for price was VERY good, but just a few concerns. The oven was not working (though the STOVETOP did work); they said they were GOING to replace it and offered to pay for any food we had bought that could not be cooked on the stovetop. Also there was a very bright security light on the outside that could not be turned off and partially lit up the hot tub, making it uncomfortable to sit in certain corners of the tub and preventing what could have been really good stargazing. Also kind of annoying, there were only three flatware spoons. However, everything else was FANTASTIC! Great “cabin” feel, with knotty pine paneling throughout the common area, lovely bedrooms with GREAT mattresses, two great, roomy bathrooms, and an otherwise well-appointed kitchen. And the outdoor area was absolutely gorgeous and QUIET!! (Possibly need AWD car to get up the VERY steep hill of the road the cabin is on?) Location good: only 20 minutes to Pigeon Forge, 40 minutes to Greenbriar entrance to Smokey Mtn Nat’l Park, and about 1 hour to Sugarlands entrance to the Park. And the drives to get these places are mostly so scenic, we didn’t mind the distances! (Also only about 20 minutes to the Buckhorn Inn Restaurant—that meal was AMAZING—which is within the cute little Gatlinburg arts and crafts area that has shops and galleries in a beautiful wooded mountain setting.) All for a VERY reasonable price!!! Would highly recommend a stay at this cabin—IF they have replaced the oven!!
