Wide open spaces are what makes this cabin unique with a gorgeous bar, brand new appliances, hot tub, leather sofas, 75" TV, and beautiful view. Location is absolutely ideal for all of the area activities. Just 6 miles to the heart of Gatlinburg attractions, 6 miles to The Island in the heart of Pigeon Forge, and 7 miles to Dollywood! Paved roads all the way!
We put a lot of love into Moose Bear Lodge and are excited to share the results! This lodge has a very cool feel to it with cathedral ceilings, wood burning fireplace, and huge open space. The layout includes a large master bedroom with master bathroom, king sized bed, 55" flat screen and a huge picturesque window. The second bedroom is a huge 600 sq. ft. "L" shaped loft area with a king bed, queen bed, and 55" flat screen featuring the newest version of the X-Box One with 2 controllers and a huge memory foam bean bag. To enter the cabin, there are a few stairs to the main entrance - please see the pictures. There is also a secondary entrance with a ramp and no stairs if needed. Please note that the secondary entrance opens up into the second bathroom LOL. I believe the bathroom was added after the door had already been in place, so not a big deal but wanted to give you a heads up! All three televisions are smart TV's and you can access Netflix, Prime, and of course cable TV on them. This cabin does have a couple neighbors however, they do not sit right on top of the cabin and they are are difficult to see in the spring/summer with the leaves on the trees so I would classify this cabin as semi-private. Great space for parking also!
The entire cabin is available to guests.

Moose Bear Lodge is located in the Sky Harbor neighborhood off of the main parkway smack dab between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg which makes it super easy to access just about any activity you are coming to town for. There are no gravel or dirt roads to travel on - only paved roads to the cabin.
In this area, driving will be your best best from point A to point B however both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have excellent trolley systems so you can park and ride if you’d prefer.
The roads to this cabin are paved, however, please keep in mind that inclement weather such as ice can affect accessibility so please plan accordingly. Winters here tend to be mild, however we do get occasional instances of ice/snow.
Fireplace: To use the wood-burning fireplace, ensure the valve is pushed to the right to open the chimney flue. Please ensure the fire is completely out and the flue is closed before departing. (Note: Fireplace is unavailable May – September).
Well Water Note for the hot tub: Because we use well water, you may notice a little cloudy sediment, especially after heavy rain. This is perfectly normal!
Peaceful environment: To keep the home comfortable for all, parties, smoking, and vaping are not allowed. Monitors are in place to help us protect the space and respect neighborhood quiet hours. Parties strictly prohibited; violators face eviction, a $500 fine, and additional fees. Indoor smoking fined $1000 + ozone remediation cost; lost revenue may apply.
Security: For peace of mind, exterior cameras monitor only outdoor areas—never inside. They record video and audio.
Flexibility: Early check-in (1pm) or late checkout (12pm) may be available for $50 each—just ask!
Rental Agreement: To ensure a safe and enjoyable stay, guests may be asked to sign a short-term rental agreement after booking. This agreement covers standard terms such as house rules, occupancy limits, liability, and responsibility for damages.
Unauthorized Pet: $500 per pet + damages
Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM During quiet hours, please keep noise to a level that won't disturb neighboring properties. We simply ask that voices and music remain at a considerate volume.
Liability & Insurance: Guests liable for damages; personal belongings insurance advised.
Service Animals: ADA service animals must adhere to guidelines; misrepresentation results in eviction.
Lost and found items: We will not be held responsible for any items left at the property or resort from the guest(s). As a courtesy, we can ship found items to address of choice for shipping +$30 service fee.
Minimum age of primary renter is 24
