"It is a new hotel and is very nice and clean. Good breakfast. Location is great to the Petra gate (you do need a taxi). Owner and son are very helpful. There are two floors to the hotel. There is no elevator. So you do have to carry luggage upstairs - it is wide outside stairs so it is convenient"

"We had a great one night stay. The checkin was easy. All the staff (front desk, concierge, restaurant) were so friendly and helpful. Everyone spoke English. Free, safe parking for our rental car. Dinner and breakfast were great, good options, great service, option to eat in the cave section which was cool. Our room was simple but comfortable. Note that they turn off the AC in November. It was warm when we got back to our room in the afternoon but if you open the windows it did cool down pretty fast and we slept comfortably. Edom is a 3 minute walk from the entrance to Petra. We were able to buy our Petra by night tickets at the front desk. We did Petra by day after we checked out and the hotel offers free, safe luggage storage which was a great service. Highly recommend Edom. Great, affordable option! "

Very helpful staff, Waleed who works at the front desk even took our car to fill the air in the tire after we noticed it was low. Housekeeping staff Hamza and Fahed also were very helpful as well. Very large and scrumptious breakfast too. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Old Village Resort in Wadi Musa. The hotel is a perfect base for visiting Petra – located in a quiet, atmospheric area with beautiful views, yet close enough to reach the Petra entrance without any problems. The massage therapist Aerf is outstanding – highly skilled, attentive and very professional. His Dead Sea Salt Scrub treatment helped us relax completely and recover after a long day in Petra. It was exactly what we needed after hours of walking in the sun and on rocky paths."
