"We had a very comfortable stay and our room had a fantastic view. Hot tub could have been a little hotter, but it worked well and seemed clean. The mattress though was not good and needs to be replaced. Overall a nice place."

"I was looking for a last-minute accommodation for an overnight trip and the domes at Pincushion Mountain Haus were exactly what I was looking for. It’s very cute, spacious, and I got to enjoy a quiet rainy evening during my stay. The location is perfect, just 6 mins to get back into town. I appreciated the mini fridge and electric kettle. It does get quite chilly, so be prepared to bundle up if you go this time of year! Would definitely recommend and plan to come back again!"

"The Mokki Cottage is a gem, simple and very efficient. It is a short walk to everything that the town of Grand Marais has to offer. Street parking is plentiful, easy and feels very safe. Numerous books on wilderness adventures to read while relaxing around the cottage."
