"The room was lovely with a large comfortable bed and ample space in the bedroom and bathroom, plus ample free parking. This is a dog friendly hotel and there seemed to be lots of guests with their dogs, as well as oursleves. The hotel is set in a lovely village with lots of green space easily accessable from the rooms to take the dog out for toilet breaks and beautiful countryside walks. We ate dinner in the pub, which was delicious and breakfast was equally delicious with the same high quality, local produce. We will definitely be staying here again."

"The food was the main attraction, it was delicious. The staff were great and welcoming. The only niggle was the force of the hot water from the hot tap and the shower head. It was just a trickle from both."

"On arrival we were greeted and shown to our spotlessly clean room with all the amenities we required truly home from home. From the lovely warm room after a day out in the unfortunately rainy weather I personally always enjoyed a soak in a lovely hot bath. This is our second stay at Highfield House and it was a memorable stay. I would highly recommend the Highfield to anyone who is visiting Skipton give it a try you won’t be disappointed.
